Finally got the new ski done and got a chance to take it for a rip. Im really happy with the changes. Grips corners a little harder, but still slides. Stability is better. I have some more things to test out throughout the summer. Here is a brief break down of the changes:
-wider
-shorter
-heavier layup
-finned ride plate
-surf fins (need to test out)
-2 motor mount positions (gp800 midshaft or sj midshaft)
-2 pump mount positions (need to test out), basically run 2 wear rings to set pump back.
-no longer using ufo inserts

I feel like -3 to -4 is best all around length ski that will flip off a boat wake with a basic 701 setup, and still be comfortable enough to ride around and not kill your back haha.
Rider height and weight play a big role in determining how long a ski needs to be since you stand behind the center of gravity. Little guys have no problems with shorter hulls, big guys really struggle getting them over the hump.

I thought I wrote a review of my Inverse on here but I must have forgot. I got my hull from Phil last June and have been riding it ever since. Phil was great in helping with any questions I had during the build. I built this ski to replace my rec ski which was a '13 SJ. Its so much more fun than that SJ with almost the same drivetrain. The hull is way lighter so the engine feels more responsive and throwing spins or getting air is all that much easier. Plus the used market on superjets is so strong that I didn't have to pony up much cash to complete the ski once I sold my '13.

I had one issue initially with the hull and Phil took care of it for me. He is a great guy to deal with and is always great at communication which you all know in this sport is a rare thing. He even went above and beyond this last winter and did some custom upgrades to the hull for me!

Here is my setup. Nothing special. Its a ski that I can run all day on lake St. Clair at speed or take to the ocean and flip on an ocean wave. Its got almost all the stability at speed as my '13 but much more flick-ability when doing tricks. Very happy with my purchase.
