I just noticed the arrow…. That’s pretty cool…

I like the poor man set back too, more water to process

Any more photos of your Pump Setback Project?

Did you add more Inserts for the extended Pump? Used standard Jetski Brass Inserts? Rivet-Nuts? How many Bolts are holding the Pump in place? 4 or 6?

Did you swap Impeller Shafts? or somehow add a 3" extension?

And the Steering Cable? Added a Coupler Nut?

I'm going to be doing the same 3 inch Pump Setback on my Square Nose using an additional Pump Section, Riv-Nuts and swapping in a longer Driveshaft. Will have the Pump rebuilt during the Shaft exchange.

I used oem brass inserts. There are 8 inserts, but 6 bolts. 4 in wear rings, 2 in nozzle. custom shaft from squatchcrap, steering cable extentions from mcmaster. I was worried id have to reprop, but its goood. This ski has a setback motor with gp800 midshaft as well.

Does that work pretty good? Bought a PJX hull a couple years ago that had that same pump setup but never got a chance to ride and build that ski before I had to fire sale it to help pay taxes.

Working with some prepreg at work on a huge government project; gaining knowledge. Hope to do a prepreg hull this winter. Im gunna shoot for 45 lbs total, full carbon and see how it holds up.
Carbon prepreg tends to be a little dry and stiff for jetski use. Plus its expensive. If you can get free material then go for it.
