Keep in mind that I was specifically waiting for a new model Footrocket. Shepster probably (HOPEFULLY DAMN BETTER!) got the older standard version.

I enquired about the skis after riding one and Nick said the earliest white hull would be about 6 weeks lead time. He then went on to say that Zack had cancelled an order so had two black hulls available straight away, I obviously jumped on this to save the wait. They weren't quite finished when I ordered but didn't take to long to show up.

I seriously doubt Nick had to go teach people how to lay up glass........ Some of the most experienced composite MFG's are in Thialand.......... Just look at most of the Carbon Fibre Bikes that are built over there, along with all the other stuff built over there.

Most likely, he has sourced a company to do the production, just like RRP did, as well as Hydrospace.................... Yes, they were/are all built there in Thailand.

Well done, you are wrong, him and his dad set up the factory themselves and employed some locals and taught them themselves just as I already told you which is a part of why he has been behind in production.

I was gonna say I don't think nick will replace the foot rocket with another boat.
The foot rocket is their flat water boat and the JB1 is their surf boat. The only thing left would be a fixed steer or a rec ski. Maybe more like a fs2 but I doubt that.

Who got theirs in 4 weeks? Fastest I heard was 4 months. It's not like ordering an in stock rickter from thrust

Maybe I have to type slow for you guys? He has just finished setting up in Thailand, if you order one NOW!! And pay your deposit, once you Have filled out you build sheet it will be done in 4 weeks

HOWEVER!

if you would like to upgrade to a Terminator hull, which will be the newest design...You can upgrade for free, it'll just take a little longer ;-)

Really?? Where did you get that info, I haven't heard that one yet... And definitely haven't seen it happen. How can they ship a new order within 4 weeks when they haven't caught up on the orders from last year?

Yes, like I said the official release is in 2 weeks so just be patient, I probably shouldn't be posting this info but it seems a couple of people on this thread are only interested in bagging Krash with info that is incorrect so time to set the record straight, there is also another hull being released so there will be three Krash hulls available.

I have ridden a JB1 for 3 years and am the Mongolian Distributor for Krash. Hence the reason I was questioning why Zach has not answered your concerns as he is the US distributor.

i haven't seen any bashing, just confusion on manufacturing, distributing, and wait times for hulls. Nobody said 1 negative thing about Krash Industries or Nick Barton

you can type slow or fast, shows up the same on my screen. i like krash industries and nick. talked with him a few times last year through e-mail. awesome rider, easy to get in touch with (it was their off season too) hope it goes well for him. he may need a new New Zealand dealer. Maybe one who isnt a prick to nick's customers.

It might help if you would let people know who you are, it might give you some credibility......... otherwise many people, me included will just think you are talking out of your ass and making statements that Nick may not can back up, which in turn makes you look like a fool.

If Nick and his dad did as you say, hey, good for them.......... Plus it gave some people jobs that may not have had jobs............ Question, How do you move to Thailand and set up a business? Just curious. I just dont seeing there being enough hulls being made to recoup the startup prices...........

For what it's worth, I've had no need to talk to any distributor because I've been dealing with Nick all along. At the time I ordered, there was no US distributor. My order was not a standard hull, so that required direct communication with Nick. That communication was sometimes fraught with long - frustrating- delays, but Nick always got back to me eventually and he was always very sincere.
I am not excusing the long delays and I wouldn't do it again, either. I am pretty sure Nick feels the same.

If it were me who is associated with a certain company/brand name through being a distributor and I make that known in answering/responding to specific question on an online forum, I'd be very careful how I carried myself because I would be very conscious of the fact that my own behavior on that board is reflecting very directly upon the company/brand I represent. Throwing around racist terms and belittling customers/potential customers would be the furthest thing from my mind.

But that's just me.
