Did you really just say this sport needs more guys like LTD hahahaha. He took a eme q8 hull and made a mold of it to sell knockoffs. Research goose and highroller on here

I would say he has, I got my sn pole from him 2 months ago. Can't complain on a custom pole in 3 weeks to my door. Just my .02 on the nobody does it for the sport comment

Even Jeff Curry of Water Dawg Kustoms has has some positive transactions but also a LOT of negative ones. Averages don't lie. Would you go on ebay and buy from someone who had a 35% positive feedback?
This is just an example and nothing against LTD personally since I've never bought from him. But didn't he change his screen name and start a new account after having a lot of negative transactions? Again nothing against him personally but a negative transaction can become positive if the seller stands behind their product and makes things right with the buyer. I guess that would be hard to do if you make no profit on the parts you sell and you do it strictly to help people and this sport...

also the term "make money" is a little misleading. I make parts and "make money" from it but its not any kind of money any of you would trade your jobs for. I can clear more working at McDonald's. No joke.

IF you wonder why this sport (Or lets just say Freestyle) is not growing, its because most people here do not care about racing...... You are not gonna have a freestyle comp if there are not races. Every year I competed against the same 2-3 guys in Freestyle and raced against just about the same number of guys in Nov Stock and Limited........ IF more people would go to the races, enter races, enter freestyle, who cares if your good, you do it for fun..... Then this sport would grow...........

not sure I buy that theory entirely since freerides are becoming more common and what is going on in Australia seems to be an explosion of freeride. Feels like they will overshadow the US in a year or two. but thats besides the point. Since this is the the hub of freeride how can we help push things to go where we want it? if racing is such a big and necessary part of the sport and we seem to somehow be seperate from it, how can we roll up our sleeves and grow racing in conjunction with freeride?

I would love to run whatcha brung at an event, except for two small problems. I would cry like a baby if I blew my motor, and im scared :):):):)less to have someone run me over if I fell( which I will, I gots to have room man!) im not scared to admit it. im old and dont have the recovery abilities of a 20 something. you are a Daddy now old man, how would breaking a leg or gulp killing yourself for the love of the sport effect your family? something to think about where we are in life. not exactly an every time thing at a race but things do happen. and my family cant chance it. so what can we do? im serious too, I do really want to race and would be more willing to do an endurance or distance thing than carve a tight course.

Tom, My last race was APBA Nationals in 2008. Being a Daddy now does change my outlook...... Yes, Freeriding and Freerides has long since surpassed racing at least here in the US. He was talking about sponsorship. Racing/Competing is really the only venue where "Sponsorship" would really be applied. Yes, there are a few who have gotten some sponsorship for freeriding, but not much. Joe Kenny did, but keep in mind this was still in the time with Yamaha was still paying out. He also had to compete some. No company is going to pay WaffleFred to go out and go riding.......... Why? They are going to sell their product anyhow. I have had some sponsorship from Racing and Freestyle, Discount on parts, wetsuits etc etc. But it helpd, I was and still am very appreciative of what I got, Not ever cried about what I did not get. Oh wait, there was that time when Pat was a slacker on sending me a set of bars.......... LOL Pat knows the joke.........

Bk, sorry I did slightly miread where this was at. My question is still valid, you got any ideas on some other stuff we can be doing to expand freeride and racing?

Or is anyone else out there a chicken :):):):) like me that might want to race (obviously maintaining a safe distance from me)?

Also, I like the predator, sucks to have issues like this already. Lets just hope its just growing pains.
What are you crazy Aussies doing at your rides? Or planning to include in the future?

I went to Wavedaze a couple years ago with no intentions of racing. My buddies the Rad Dudes asked if I needed someone to hold my ski at the line. I told them I wasn't racing and they said "yeah you are, we signed you up for the blaster class". I raced dirtbikes for a long time so I wasn't worried about racing I just didn't want to keep my ski pinned for a long time with high compression and ported/jetted for Freeride. It was a lot of fun to race in surf on a shore break and it actually made it more competitive since the fastest ski wouldn't be the one to win. It was cool to have the races during a Freeride event and it was nice being competitive without a race setup on my ski.

Tom what are you referring to about the issues with the Predator? Was it not released an Rip n Ride?

Not the predator, just the issues from them moving.

I also liked the races at daytona freeride. Duh, I would fare better on a blaster. And I have a few backup motor cores I could stand to lose. Thanks dude.

Go to OZFreeride and look up Krash under jetski sponsors and performance parts. There is a description of all of Nicks skis.

Please don't be offended by what others have learned from years of experience from previous dealings with some of the more interesting individuals here on the X.They really were trying to help

Its been a huge 12 months for Krash setting up our own factory in Thailand to better meet world wide demand and tackle lengthy waiting periods from time of deposit to time of delivery. Im happy to say we have got through all the back log of hulls and our factory is fully operational now and already doubling what we were previously manufacturing a month. For instance Pierre confirmed his order of hulls only 4 weeks ago and they will be shipped next week, NZ freeride confirmed there order of hulls only last week and they will be ready for shipping at the start of next month.
All of the hulls coming out of the new factory are 100% epoxy resin infused with a painted urethane finish. The benfit to using a high grade epoxy is it is a much stronger product better suited to the type of impact that a hull will endure in the surf and being a painted finish stops the unfortunate gel coat cracking issues which we and many other companies that use gelcoat have. For those that don’t know Gelcoat is generally applied between .75 to 1mm over a part and is made up of polyester resin, micro ballons, carbosile and pigment the same as car filler (bog) which gives you a nice finish out of the mould like on boats and small parts but not great after a year in the surf. So to tackle this issue we spray all of our moulds with a thin urethane film and once out of the moulds primed for painting or ready for the customer to individualise.
We will also be doing a range of superjet components, Krash Pad matt kits, Pole Brackets, Pumpshoes and scuppers as individual items.
For those that are new to the sport or anyone interested in our hulls below is a description of each model with pricing and options it comes in.
Footrocket
The Footrocket is 190cm long 70cm wide and 55cm high it was purposely designed for flatwater freestyle but with its adjustable tailplate and footholds and capability of bolt on sponsons also has ernt its place in the surf. So for the riders out there that want to do some flatwater freestyle and still have a craft that can not only be taken out in the surf but handle in it or just flat out want to do some crazy aerial maneuvers this is the craft for you
We also do a pump area to suit a 155mm pump but price is still the same.
Options and Prices
Glass composite 44kg primed $6300
Glass composite 44kg with graphics and krash pad $7000
Carbon look 42kg with graphics and krash pad $8000
Light weight carbon composite 28kg partial carbon look with graphics and krash pad $8500
Light weight carbon composite 28 kg full carbon look with graphics and krash pad $10500

Predator

The Predator hull is designed to stand apart from all others in the surf developed from the successful JB1. With new features like an adjustable plate not to make it smaller but upto 3 inches longer for your big surf days. 15 degrees rolled on to the tail rails and edges of the bottom for better turning stability and response with a sharper top and tray extension. Its 200cm long 72cm wide and 55cm high.

Options and Prices

Glass composite 47kg primed $6300
Glass composite 47kg with graphics and krash pad $7000
Carbon look 45kg with graphics and krash pad $8000
Light weight carbon composite 35kg partial carbon look with graphics and krash pad $8500
Light weight carbon composite 35 kg full carbon look with graphics and krash pad $10500

Nemisis

The Nemisis hull is for the diehard superjet fans in particular the pre 08 super jet shape. We have added 2 inches of rocker to the nose and a spray guard. Aswell as coming with adjustable footholds on a 3inch wider tray.

Options and Prices

Glass composite 50kg primed $5800
Glass Composite 50kg with graphics and krash pad $6400

All of the hulls coming out of the new factory will come with Scupper and blank off kit, Adjustable footholds, dual 12mm cooling lines, trim line, detachable bed plates, pole bracket, aluminium pump shoe, sponsons and tail plate. The options with be in a black or white primer ready for paint or with krash pad and graphics fitted.
Other products we will be doing are krash pad which comes in sheets of 100cm x 50cm this is our particular cut diamond and ive found it to give you the most grip. Comes in a range of colours and is $24 per sheet.
Superjet Hoods and nose pieces are $850 and pre 08 sponsons are $400.

If you would like any futher details my email is nickb@k2kglobal.com.au.

expand the sport... yea it can be done.
make jet skiing into a family tradition. you say hey on weekends a,b,c,x,y,z im going to take my whole family out to pismo and we are going to camp and bbq and ride skis. get your brothers, daughter, neighbors, cousins, and uncles out there. even if they dont have skis have them come for the beer and food. if they have fun theyll buy some toys and in a few years you will have clans of kids that grew up riding skis as a part of their culture

I want to say that Nick has been VERY helpful with my foot rocket order so far. Even though he is in Australia and I am in the US he always replies to my emails within the same day. I bugged him for a week with questions before I placed and order. He answered all questions even giving unbiased opinions on other brand hulls I was looking at.
