New prop, now it won't spin

New guy here but I have rebuilt a few pumps. Did you change the bearings or just the impeller. I have done bearings and had this problem because they were not perfectly seated. If the bearings are the same then this is not your problem.

Im having a similar issue. Drive shaft locks up when prop is fully tightened. I have tried with and with out washers behind prop and same result. Anyone else have this problem?

The prop is a solas yb-sc-k 15-19. The ski is 96 wb1 stock pump. The solas prop chart says it will fit the ski.

Can anyone help me with this one? ^^

No clue here, especially if with the washers it still doesn't spin. I'd assume it spins freely (the driveshaft) without a prop on it?

Maybe a high spot in the wear ring at exactly the point where the prop sits? Does the prop spin inside the wear ring up until the point it bottoms out?

I just had the same issues with a cut back prop, the hub was bottoming out on the hub of the stator section. As long as your blades aren't hitting the stator (doubtful) I would check to see if this is where it is hitting. I took a marker and marked the outer edge of the pump hub and spun the prop a few times while it was just barely touching it. I took a file and chamfered the corner of the hub a bit and it worked perfectly.

The area in red was where I was hitting, knocked that down quick and it freed right up.
