Are these shipping yet...anyone tried one out? Can you use any chinpad such as a blowsion? What about a price? I have narrowed it down to a RRP or this X metal pole to replace my lame 08 superjet steering.

Having the pole be adjustable is a key feature as well as price.

Maybe available by daytona

Poles are complete. First batch will be at daytona. Pretty much any chinpad will work with the supplied hardware.
We'll have the price nailed down this week. ( approx $650 for complete kit )

Hey xscream...how bout some new bar options...

Make them to work with a 1" bar clamp, about 2.5 inches of rise but ZERO pullback

similar to the RRP, but not quite
Wouldn't it be much easier to make some 1 1/8 bar adapters and be able to pull any dirtbike bar off the shelf for desired rise, pullback and sweep? Easier to manufacture and alread a huge selection of extremely durable bars.

Don't take our lack of response to this as were not interested.
Weve been designing, redesigning, testing, and building allot of stuff for 09, and theres quite a bit that we want to have accomplished over the next month.
That said we might as well take a crack at this. It appears to be pretty simple.
Were actually running turn plates tomorrow, I'll see if we can knock a few prototypes out, and bring em to Daytona for some testin.
I'll only bring a few, so first come first serve.
What I would need is, info on preferred bars to design around ..... any input? Hurry were runnin outta time

The protapers on my conversion hood might be a good starting point. No cross bar and plenty of room for start/stop switch and trim. let me know if you want the dimensions or maybe a part number if I can find one.

Hell, I could just bring them by tomorrow if you want.

If you brought them by, I could prolly make somethin happen for D'town

I called you guys about making some bars like this a while back, the demand is there now. I dont see a point in making them in 1inch or pro taper 1.2 diameter, all the xmetal clamps we all have are 7/8ths.why make it more complicated and expense and have to buy larger clamps?also with this setup for a sj,you want them 0 degree no sweep,if you pull them back a tad to extend the pole length the sweep angles down and looks stupid and gets in the way.for them to be adjustable height and length, they must be 0 sweep
its impossible to find motox bars with 0 sweep, and VERY difficult to bend it out like i did without weakening the alum badly
