As a manufacturer. Materials have gone way up. This sport definitely isn't cheap either! Our pricing has also gone up.

How come only the XI has increased in price due to the materials have gone way up? and not the Tigercraft V2 carbon?

They are both 100% epoxy and carbon?
Only thing i could see, is to follow XS and Heliums footstep with price increase? :)

Even with the price increases they are still cheaper a cheaper option than buying a Rickter. Better quality as well imo. Hard to beat when they come with a pole, pole bracket, hull and hood side hood hook, billet hood side latch, shoe install, and rideplate.
Don’t forget the great customer service !

The v2 is 6 years old and the molds havepaid for themselves. The XI is only a year old and had tons of man hours between shaping, testing, tweaking and producing. Same reason a big horn truck cost more than the tradesman. Same engine, same assembly line. Got any more brain busters I can answer?

i bought the helium hull dusty sold a few months back, and its leaps and bounds ahead of my freak in terms of build quality. i love my freak dont get me wrong, but xs does a fantastic job building these and you can tell the time they take to assemble these vs other hulls out there on the market.

Tony, its a shame we are being harassed by people who cant understand simple pricing practices common to the world and continue to badger manufacturers they arent sponsored by. Trying to alienate customer for their supported suppliers. Sickening.

No, the #1 reason the sport is so small is because the general public doesn’t want to ride a stand up, let alone ones that are 10, 20 or 30 thousand.

It’s just a very small market regardless the price.

Who is harassing you about price increases? I sure hope this comment isn’t directed at me. All I did was post an observation that I noticed...didn’t know the price of carbon increased which i already stated justifies the price increase

But 6 months ago the XI was listed for 6800 usd, just like the V2 - correct?
The price increase came along with XS and Helium :)

He is refering to me, becasue is ask alot of questions about his pumps in other threads, that he cannot give a straight answer to :)
And NO the carbon or let alone materials for makeing a hull has not increased that much :) actually only Helium and XI that had this heavy price increase:

Revolver
Rickter
Phantom
Nitro

neither one of these hulls had a price increase :)

PLEASE note - i have not problem with guys making money and thier living on jetski parts - i think thats super cool. IMO the 1300 usd price increase, is just a bit over the top (beacuse the level before the 1300 usd incrase, had been that level for what 6-7 years - and it seemed to be fair) - and if the substantiation for the increase - would be a direct increase in materials - im calling bs :)

Comp Phantom did have a major price increase in both visual and non visual. Cheaper French carbons became harder to acquire. similar quality american made carbons are more expensive, which ultimately raised the price.

How much is a non visual carbon Phantom now in 2020?
UK grade carbon hasnt raisied in price the last 4-5 years - you guys might wanna look to UK then :)

WTF does the price on any freestyle hull matter? They are all comparable and if you are going to be all hung up on what someone wants for their hull you probably can’t afford the race gas to ride it anyway. Either way, you have a few options,,, buy something different, buy something used or MAKE IT YOURSELF and see why it costs what it does! Seems pointless to complain about it.
