Great ride today Drew took a few photos before the hail really started to hit me in the face, lol Ski rips hard, almost too much :) Waves were a bit large and winds were insane as you can see

Yesterday was close to perfect on the NE shore of Lake Erie (Canada) . Sunny, mild (for this time of the year) and strong SW winds to make large enough waves (a bit choppy because of the S aspect to the SW wind). Everyone (surfers, kiters, windsurfers) was out on the water - except jetskiers. Seems someone has to work for parts and fuel and repairs and more parts and more .... Today and Saturday could be mild and ok but decreasing winds and smaller waves. http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/canada/ontario/port-colborne Still time to get out locally, before the bottom drops out next week... http://www.theweathernetwork.com/14-day-weather-trend/canada/ontario/port-colborne

BIG Again Monday Nov 18 2013 and fairly mild for this time of the year. If you are checking out this ACTIVE URL please be sure to change the time to show on the map as 7 am and onwards for Nov 18 and refresh frequently. Might snap some shots on the Canadian side from tomorrow morning into early afternoon if the weather is suitable for pics.... and if the winds stay from the WEST instead of SW the waves will be cleaner.... ANYONE GOING TO BE OUT on Eastern EEEEEEEEEEEEEEERie? http://www.glerl.noaa.gov/res/glcfs/glcfs.php?lake=e&ext=wv&type=F&hr=42

Hope some of you got out, had fun and got some great images. I would have gone with someone but it is a long drive to go by yourself just to take pics and then you do not know who is showing up. I see waves well over 2 metres tall at 4 pm and still relatively warm conditions.

Bet some of you had a great time! Looking forward to seeing your pics.
