Nitrous on a superjet

I picked up a SN hull with a good driveshaft and midshaft so hopefully we'll have time to get those swapped out.

I also got parts for two TWIN CARB nitrous setups. Hopefully we will have time to put a kit on Hoang's ski this week.

Subscribing...... this might work well on my JS550/650 swapski :)

Kawi 650 motors are a dime a dozen these days.

Nice work.

We got bogged down with real job stuff.

I've got two kits on the shelf ready to go. Both are twin carb setups. $600 each. I didn't want to press to sell them until we had more results, but if someone is anxious....

I might have an update tonight. Hoang (raisinbread on here) called me last night to ask if he could swap the kit onto another ski. I haven't heard yet but hopefully it is installed on a ~680cc square nose with a Coffman pipe. We are planning on riding the creek that feeds Lake Lewisville today.

Aaron, I think this project could be the holy grail for flat water backys on a budget ! would you be willing to do a trade out on a hood or some thing ? I'm getting a Scat Mag 12v set back with a 14-19 that might stay hooked up. I would love to test it. Please don't drop this idea, I think it has merit.

that's the only way it may work.

Same story on the impeller. (pitched too tight) the coupler held out fine. Basicaly on the nitrous, you go wot, and your instantly on the rev limiter. A bigger pitch impeller will def. Be necessary, but it may be too big for non-nitrous use.

There's another way to deal with this, prop just for the N2o, when riding around with out the N2o introduce a controlled amount of air into the pump tunnel via a orfice so you can tune it. you could have it spring activated like a backwards check valve so when it hits it would close off the air to the tunnel and hook up like a mofo.

If I can get some fun money together a N2o system that is easy to controll the shot and a programable ingnition that can retard as the shot comes on I'm in. I think it would work, I've modded a stock pump that hooks up like mad . Between Aron and Blue working on it, it's totally doable.
