No one will share the info.......its like its top secret. I have waited and searched but I never saw anything else about it.

Had a stainless steel gastank with stainless straps the front of it that held the bottle. Down side was that they don't make the solenoids in alum or stainless.
It's not my ski, but I'll try to get some pics & post them up.

The guy that was selling that ski was lvfreestyle.
I bought a pump from him, seems like a good dude.

I couldn't the post, but if I remember correctly it got locked for some reason.

Yea LV said he would not disclose all of his R&D but said the next owner could if he wanted to. But the new owner never chimed in about it. I remember seeing pics of LV on flat going huge so I assume it works very well.

HA!

yeah, no.

that boat was a POS when he got it and had to rebuilt from the ground up..100% disassembly

its a sweet boat now, but cory got screwed on that deal

sometimes skis (or other things) have "fresh paint" for a reason

the tank is cool though..he actually has it for sale...tank with bottle mount kit
PM lone octane

the reason he didnt want to originally disclose the details is because the bottle was mounted INSIDE the gas tank, and the boat was used like that during comps...

nos on a superjet would be crazy.seems like it would be hard to keep the pump hooked up and not cavatating.wonder how it would act in the surf.could pull off some huge back flips and barrel rolls.

i would want to hide it in the fire extinguisher compartment. but im that guy that doesnt want people to know what i have until its to late and then leave them guessing
Then you would have to hook/unhook the bottle everytime you took the hood off.

I looked could not find any of his threads that were locked.

Apparently for sale threads don't have the same lifespan as other threads? Was there a big clean-up that I missed? I know I have tried to find the for sale thread for my Wamilton's ski I bought from superramjet and it doens't show up anymore, neither did this nitrous'd ski. I searched all the sellers old posts, and it said he had like 150+, but when I listed them it only showed 55 or so.

Anyway, thanks for the pics of the bottle setup. It's helpful and not helpful at the same time. I don't want to make a custom fuel tank, but at the same time I am still unclear where I can put a nitrous bottle. I'd like to run a 2.5lb bottle. Here is the nitrous math:

10lbs of nitrous will last 100 seconds at 100hp jetting. So...

2lbs of nitrous will last 20 seconds at 100hp, or 100 seconds at 20hp.

2 lbs of nitrous will last 50 seconds at 40hp (that would be a HUGE hit on a SJ)

Considering I want to use this for flatwater freestyle/ride and that it would only be activated at WOT, and the amount of time actually spent at WOT on a setup or boat wake (Would you agree that is 2 seconds or less each?). Then that is 25 big hits of nitrous per bottle.

A major nitrous kit manufacturer might be interested in me developing a kit for them. I know there are "kits" out there right now, but NONE are application specific and are really just a generic pile of parts that you might be able to get to work....or not.

Right now my main issue is mounting as big of a bottle as possible.

I think just small bursts at the right moment on the right hull would be excellent!

Actually that is our front-runner idea right now. Mounting the bottle in the tray like where the SN fire extinguisher would be. You will have to run the line through the bulkhead there, but if it's a -3 fitting you could put a grommet on the hole and almost seal it up. I would like for the line to be a little loose in the hole so you could pull some out to give you some slack when changing bottles.
