To the right of the restraunt there's a bridge and there was a beach where people had skis pulled up. 1/4 mile or so up there was an outlet to the surf. Any idea of what restraunt I'm talking about. But that would be sick. Not sure about the camping situation but it was a nice beach, and the bay's nice and wide for those who don't want to hit up the surf (???) Everyone could get lunch at the restraunt right on the beach (literally)

Yeah that is the Deauville inn. My girlfriend works there. That inlet right there is corsons. You can literally ride your ski up to the beach bar there. In the google earth picture I posted up the bridge you are talking (one of the two that connects Strathmere/Sea Isle City to Ocean city) about is in the bottom right corner of the picture and the deauville is right next to it barelly off that satellite shot.

Jason, the break is confined because it's a sandbar so you can get right behind it, in front of it, and in some spots right beside it. I can talk to my dad, he has a pimp 256ssi chapparal that is awesome in the ocean, and we live literally 5-10minutes from there so I could see if he would want to go out with that, he goes there every weekend in the summer anyway and hangs on the beach.

ant, you bring up a good point but the insurance for something like that is a tad steep, something in the high 4k range i belive, i know for a two day even the insurance is 7k for the event weekend and if you are in the surf they will probably require an ambulance on site so tack on another 1500 for the weekend

The insurance all depends on the size, for profit, if it's commercial...If it's a freeride I can't see it being that much. A couple of friends of mine and I are in the process of trying to put on a 9-day event near me and the insurane quote was no where near that high, and ours is commercial/ for profit. You are allowed to drive on the beach in wildwood, as long as theres an event. The wildwood police patrol the beach like anything else, now I'm sure it would have to be off season like before second week of June, or after labor day.

Actually I drove down on the beach in Wildwood the last weekend in september 07', dropped my ski in the water and rode for an hour and a half. The police never said a word they actually watched for a little bit. Now the only reason I went down there was because my buddy was running the quad wars for the Monster Jam there on the beach, but still the police had no idea that I was affiliated with them because I was a 1/2 mile down the beach away from them.

Get you buddy to book some bigger name freeride guys and have a freeride comp. All the guys not competing can put a few bucks towards a purse
and just ride.

I know that this thread is going different directions with what ppl want but I have to say that a agree with what ANT is saying about Corsons inlet and what not, a buddy of mine and myself were down there last summer and it was sick riding, people that might not want to ride the surf have the chance to flat water and even hit some of the boat waves because bigger boats rip through the inlet part. and there is other things to do besides ride, 2 other friend of mine went with us and sat on the beach all day and rode into town for food and what not. there’s also a few jetski rental shops where you could get parts in something goes wrong. That’s just my 2 cents on a ride at corsons, maybe even later in the summer or a different time idk a ride at raystwon sounds good and lake walenpaulpack is a nice lake to ride on, no reason we cant plan a few events over the summer, as long as they don’t interfere with other events.

yo, im up for corsons hopefully is not to wishiewashie this year! looking forward to a new year. hopefully i will own my own stand up and save my two couches for the family and friends.

I know the DSlicker outlaw ride is the weekend after labor day in september or around there. I dont know when this one will be.

on other hand we can go to Trenton area on the Delaware river. It's doesn't have many attractions but it's only 5 minutes from my house so I don't have to drive to far
