Shawn, everyone I have seen uses rivets but not sure which ones. Hopefully someone chimes in on that. @RMBC Freeride can you lend some insight?
I used 2 screws on my A/M hull. But rivets are good too, preferably closed-end pop rivets. Standard pop rivets work, but you have to seal the hole in the middle with 5200 or else they can leak into the hull.

Thanks man. What blows is that me and my wife work opposite schedules so for the entirety of our 6 year marriage we have barely seen eachother. I took this newer position with the promise that i would be switched to day shift at the first available opening. They keep stringing me along and it breaks her heart every time the shift change date comes and goes. If I'm still on nights by the end of summer I'm quitting. Anyone in a warmer climate have a need for a machinist? lol.FPF, it's obvious that you're an honest guy and I can attest that you do really nice work, so don't beat yourself up over it.
Sorry to hear you got stuck on night shift, I know what that feels like.
Did you just use self tapping screws? Just curious for advising future customersI used 2 screws on my A/M hull. But rivets are good too, preferably closed-end pop rivets. Standard pop rivets work, but you have to seal the hole in the middle with 5200 or else they can leak into the hull.
