finally picked up superjet after a few kawasaki's. found a 01 sj with trailer. it was alil dirty, here are some pics after i cleaned it up. stock except for a top loader intake grate. cant wait to rip it. starting to look for some first mods...

nuthing serious, put on 0 Degree bars, Umi Throttle, new grips and limiting rope. i was gunna put the TBM turn plate on, but then realized i need a aftermarket steering system, im workin on a way to put it on without one tho (keep you posted). i think im gunan order a blowsion spring as well. Footholds and mat kit come tomoro, then gotta find some time and cut up the deck and returf. gunna be a blast.......sike

started on the footholds tonight, got he deck cut and holds fitting, should have done the epoxy tongiht and let it dry. but im exhuasted from riding all day and working. anyway here's what i got so far.

You should go ahead and shorten that pole while your at it!! Congrats BTW

i see that most people who shorten there pole end up breaking it anyway..might go with a new pole thats already shortened

yeah but you can go way shorter with a stocker than most aftermarket ones go. unless you get RRP or Xmetal which are adjustable up to -4 i believe.

whats required to cut it?, just cut the end of the pole and reinstert it?

drill the rivets out, use stainless bolts, or get stainless rivets.

i used 5200, cracked the pole base while chiseling out the cut piece of pole, and used aluminum rivets. thats why mine only lasted half a season.

let me know if you need a hand and get yourself some two part epoxy and ill help you out cutting it down if you want. you should try riding someone elses ski with a short pole first though to see if you like it.

lol, we have a guy who started riding with us this week with a stock 04. I was thinking the same thing about his too.

did the screw idea work good on the siderails? i wish i never threw mine out.. id put them right back in.
