I doubt this would ever work, the rocker is created by removing and reshaping material. But I'm sure another add on can get a little closer, see the tubbie thread. Now if someone can start making something with all the good feedback in that thread.

It would be cool to be able to order different noses. Stock replacement nose, surf rocker nose, flatwater nose. One might be fine for both... (dreamin here, but sponsons to match rocker as an option) Have some kind of template for the buyer to lay on the ski to mark cuts to be made for removing the current nose. Installation materials like glass, carbon, foam, resin and hardener would be up to the buyer. Just sell the nose template and installation recommendations.

Probably never happen, but sounds cool for the budget minded majority. I would definitely be into it.

Thoughts???

It's our new "vision" hull. It is "not" a splash of the FS-1, but instead started as a 08 SJ bottom and then was chopped,widen, sliced and shaped to into our very own new design. I just wanted to compare it to the Rickter by putting it side by side.

I am currently working on the top deck design. Their is much more work ahead!!

The stock replacement nose is already available. More to follow in the future.

There are also a couple other builders who can make the new nose. I was quoted a good price by more than one person to lay up a new top and bottom. They said they could make them go however far back I needed to replace the crunched part.

im currently cutting up an sj at the front and the back it will not be shorter at the back but radius like a rear rocker i have no idea what im doing and no glassing skills so it should be fun my ski/engine builder is gonna help me

im hoping it will flatwater flip (i havent done one yet i can just about in the surf ) and try it in the waves
