Pump alignment and fitting is complete, did some more blending in the pump tunnel/shoe which isn't pictured. Dropped the motor in for some mockup. E-box location is gonna be tricky at best but I think I have a good solution in the works. more to come on that

Spent today getting some turfing done, learned that I hate turfing. Also learned that DAP Weldwood is probably fairly toxic. I work in a very large open shop and didnt expect the fumes to be an issue. I spent probably around 3 hours working on the base of the tray. After I got the main section in I cleaned up and headed home. Soon as I walked into my house my vision started getting blurry and I couldnt focus well at all. I took a shower and laid down for awhile my vision returned to normal after around a half hour it then progressed into a migrane like headache which lasted for about 2 hours. Long story short, work in a well ventilated area when turfing or wear a respirator. Lesson learned, i still dont feel 100%

Heres a few of the progress, hopefully it was worth the lost brain cells

I turfed all weekend. Didn't think about the toxicity until you posted this. No doubt it is some strong stuff. I try to do most of it outdoors. It explains why I couldn't stop shaking my foot while watching TV last light and also why I couldn't sleep last night.

Finally got some time today to get some work done. Started with epoxying the mounts for the E-box.

I know it doesnt looks like it in the pictures, but I did strip the Zolatone off where I did the epoxy I took it down to bare carbon.

Also finally mounted the block for the hood pins and the pole bracket

After that I put the pump setup in for good (well for now atleast) loctite and all hardware in and everything aligned.

Also threw the pole on so I could pretend I was almost done :)

Should be noted that both Kurt and I were in for quite a shock of just how short the comp setup is when we stood in the tray, and realized we definitely may need to eat an extra bowl of wheaties and maybe a push-up or two this year lol

I am interested to see how that ebox location works with the tank and battery. I mounted mine to the front foothold. uploadfromtaptalk1401207502736.jpg

Kurt,
Are you going to be using any dampeners on your ebox or just mounting it solid? I think i'm going to use this dampener (McMaster 9697K135) on this glass in insert (McMaster 97590A582)
