Sorry this happened to you Pete, but after spending 35 years in NY I consider Virginia Beach as one of the safest and cleanest major ocean front cities on the east coast.

I just don't want this to leave any doubt to visitors that come to our event that they even need to worry about their equipment. Virginia Beach has one of the highest percentage of police per squared block due to the fact of the city wishing to guarantee a safe family environment, hence the no @#@$ signs.

If the gas was replaced with a low grade fuel, I think it would be somebody that knew your ski's fuel requirements, vehicle and you. So that would either be a local junkie or and imported freerider. I believe ALL junkies have respect for you and we just don't have any characters in our group that I think could ever do that. That only leaves a imported freerider.

Just wanted to reassure our guest, that VB is a great and safe place to live and visit.

True,VB has more cops per sq inch than any other city I know. But when loads of jetskiers are walking round going to all the vehicles its impossible to know what is out of the ordinary. In accordance to your last post that makes much more sence. The point was to get bad gas in your tank, not steal the race fuel.Someone is going WAY out of their way to get at you.although just replacing the fuel in your ski with bad gas would have been a much smarter approach,so at least your perpetrator is stupid, and wont be hard to catch if they ever try again.Glad to hear all you stuff is fine otherwise

Actually what happened is after I did my usual trailer tire swapping,I needed some gas, being from Alabama I always have my handy dandy Alabama credit card with me,so I just parked downhill and siphoned that gas out in no time flat. Now the Yota was running like a funny car with all that race gas in it and trailer pulled so good with the new tires that I started feeling kinda guilty and went to the nearest vehicle without a locking gas cap and brought Pete some gas back.Hell it was the least I could do!:wiggle:

ah this made my day.

Sorry to hear what happened. Glad you didn't let it wreck yo chit. Better chickity check yourself before you wrickety wreck your stuff.

I can run some tests on that gas if you would like.
I usually throw 2-3 gallons on an open bofire. Depending on the intensity and size of the mushroom cloud I can tell you the octane as well as the premix ratio. It is a fine skill I have honed.
Send the gas to Eddie, in Long Beach CA. They know who I am.
