Yup.... I'm so sick of these people who feel the need to bring all their personal experiences (usually bad) and dump em on this site... This is not a positive site anymore for the most part. I see this site and the "negative feedback section" for the entire jet ski community.. People come her to air their grievences and start drama about others... We can help make that go away, but not feeding into it, but that like asking people to not stare at the wreck on the side of the road...
I think this site can be positive again, but it's up to us to turn it around... We have to want the positivity back and not embrace the negative... I will say this. Even through all the crap drama certian people keep having around them we still continue to attract positive young kids to the sport..
It's funny, we never have these problems when it's 200-300 of us on the beach... People seem to know how to ack then, why not now???

Well I've loved this site since it started and have been an active member. It always had that friendly, close knit community feeling to it. But over the past several months everything has taken a severe turn for the worst. People that were "friends" have been putting bullets in their backs instead of wanting to take a bullet for them. Every thread seems to turn into pissing matches and noone seems to get along with anyone. This site has always been about people staying in touch, organizing rides, and helping with builds. Lately it has lost all of that. I personally just like to ride. I'm not a builder, seller, repair person or any of that. Just a rider and a member of the site. I find myself coming here less and less everyday and the b.s. keeps piling up here, makin me question who are friends, who are acquaintences for personal gain. Ill still come here occasionally and I plan on going to some of the freerides next year, but for the most part, im taking a leave to see if things get back to the way they were. The northern freeze is almost here so riding is out for at least like 6 monthsuch: but thats ok because i enjoy my family more than my ski.
On a side note, my grandmother recently passed away and it made me realize a few things. We were supposed to visit her last wednesday but we had things to do so we put it off, unfortunately she passed on the next day. For now on, we are not putting things off, no more "we'll do it another day". I know it sounds cliche and you've heard it your whole life but it is very good advice. It goes well here too. Everyone loves to ride and thats why we are on this site in the first place.

It might have to do with the threat of gettin their azz beat, just a guess.
Utopia is a little boring after awhile, drama is always exciting, soaps, what will they do next? watching and waiting isn't the problem its fighting back that makes it a problem, before anyone goes off about how they hate the drama, check and make sure you didn't become part of it. few on here can claim that. We are all guilty of feeding the frenzy, so recognize and change your ways!
And the problem with that is and I have personally withnessed it with my friends is that even when everyone is behaving, everyone is just waiting for someone to step out of line even just a little and then BAM out comes the waaahbulance.

I think we should start bringing boxing gloves to all the freerides, That way the guy's that have beef with one another can beat the crap out each other. It will also provide plenty of fun for all watching. Then after the beat-down, the beef should be squashed. Let's try it in Daytona, it will be fun. We can call it "Battle of the Beef on the Beach" lol
