We are still working out the logistics and pricing but the hub conversion kits will be available seperately so you will be able to upgrade your old tote to receive ATV and Golf cart tires.

Hey,
If you can customize an order,
How about using pins instead of welding the slide tubes into the axle?
That, of course, is something you will need to figure out how to implement.

You could almost do away with the inner/outer tube construction if the wheels popped off like Benny's idea.
You may need a horizontal piece to hold that end together.

I am guessing that breaking down the way they designed may have something to do with shipping.

These are a work in progress so the feedback is all good. The first couple will not need to be shipped but eventually we will need to figure out a way to make them more modular. One of the drawbacks to them being modular however is that it makes them susceptable to loosening up and getting real sloppy, a complaint we all have with our old totes including the TBM and Tiger Tote.

A couple of ideas coming for the future...
- The front leg will have 2 different options. Fixed, (like the Tiger Tote) or pivotting like the examples above.
- The ATV/golf rim axle kits will have 2 different offset options to match more rims by simply reversing the way it is slid on the axle. It will also be able to fit 4 and 5 bolt rims by having a second set of holes in the backing plate.
- Pinnable receiver rather than the fixed extension in the handle. More options allowing for interchangeable setups such as a hitch insert and winch.

Thats a great idea putting pins right there! That way if you want to throw the axle and tires in the back of your truck (like I do) you can easily remove them from the cart section. Would be simple to do, you just cut the 2 vertical boxes that connect the bunk section to the axle right in half. Use some over sized box alum to make a sleeve over the 2" thats coming out of the axle. You can drill and bolt that on. Then the bunk section could drop right into the other side of the oversized alum and drill holes for the quick pins. Basically the same way I raised the bunks on my bigfoot cart.

Boyer bring it back. Alot of us are looking for a cart a good price. Even is it not the best price we can get the custom ideas implemented.

The tote worked out perfect and I am very pleased with mine. Unfortunately everybody seems to think that they should not cost more than $350 to build. I shopped around for months just for the rims and tires and the best price I could negotiate was $198. Sure, guys can post one off deals they stumbled across for cheaper rims and tires but that is useless from a business perspective.

Bottom line, these aren't cheap to build and I will not work for free just so others can benefit. I will instead focus on other products that I can better manage material and labor costs and provide for a mutually agreeable cost.

If you guys are truly interested, I can put you in touch with Steve and he can custom build you the frame (minus the rims and tires if you so desire).

I find this to be true also - I am designing a cart myself - but the wheels and tires are expensive even at dealer cost. If we knew we could sell 10 of them, the cost of fabrication and aluminum would go down a little, but overall its expensive and the time we have in researching supplies is, at this point anyways, not paid for!

I spoke to somebody at TBM last year when I was looking for a second cart and they told me that they had 500 built and that it took 2 1/2 yrs to sell them all. At $499 a cart, that's a $250,000 investment. He also told me that it was not worth their while and that they would never do it again. Now I know why.

$600 plus shipping would be the absolute minimum and even that would be borderline. I am a small time operation working out of my garage on weekends on top of a very demanding full time job. I contract out the welding to a buddy that lives 150 miles away. We came up with a good idea but ideally it needs resources beyond our own to make a good run of them.
