OEM 155 Pump Talk

8 vein big hub, weld the 4 long bolt holes closed and re drill appropriately. Go to town with a aluminum flapper on the stator section and you now have a 155 8 vein mag. That fits a old style 155 reduction and wear ring. Different bearings It runs 3 front seals stock I lathed it down to run 1 and also get the clearance for the impellors. I blue printed mine.
@alex_hockey have any picture you’d like to share?

I would need to take pictures, it looks like a 155 stator with the holes relocated. Ive flappered off all the material surround the stator otherwise. If i remember to take some this weekend i can post them up.

What did you do with the water filter section? Flip that down and weld it up? Where did you tap for cooling? Sorry for the questions, I haven’t seen this pump in person yet.

You can go to 91mm no problem on a 155 reduction nozzle. They are only paper thin at the very end, after 1/4” back they are a few mm thick still. I’ve been running an oem 155 on my phantom with 1107 and 11/17 prop 91mm reduc nozzle it performed fantastic. I just put TL and a skat 160 setback and the TL is great but the mag pump was a waste of money unless your going for combos.

BK he did, a 155 7/10 Skat magnum swirl. And I already order it from Dave at Impros. I was just wonder which pitch Air Blair was running? I seen a few comments how amazing his ran with 701 and Oem 155.

Just wanted to chime in as the OP here and say I find it enriching how many people have come to adopt the OEM 155 over the last 4 years over the old standard, MAG 148. I got so much flack 4 years ago from pump manufacturers and highly reputable tuners saying its a waist of time.

Glad to see you guys make it work, save some money, while also having the better preforming product

I find it funny that Waterdawg tried this WAY before it was a thing, and much like the laydown pipe and the billet 66E nobody paid much attention until many years later.
True, but its probably chalked up to his reputation at the time. "WAY" back in the day Jeff donated a rev hull to the daytona freeride and then stole it back and pissed just about everyone off. Went into hiding for half a decade and reemerged once everyone forgot how much of a dbag he is. but i know you know that already lol

toot toot, let the derailing begin
