If only people on here would understand the amount of time and effort that Zack, Mark, Ryan and the rest of those involved put into dialing in those flips I think there would be a whole lot less hate. Give these guys more time on one and the possibilities are endless

I hope you (and others) aren't associating people's current lack of interest in the machine as a lack of respect for the riders or their opinions of the machine.
I think Zack is a cool ass dude. He could probably make a razor scooter look cool and do some rad tricks on it that I would never even think of trying. So I respect him and his skill, but the Shredder is just something else that he can make look completely rad while the rest of us look like a monkey humping a football.

That's exactly what I was thinking, foam pit easy! I've been on rope swings much scarier than a half pipe with foam at the end.

Yeah they seem like a cool novelty. I can't see it going any further than that. Even with all the hype. How popular is the Segway?

My head is thinking if i wanted to ride a stand up pole machine, I would ride the ski. & if I wanted to ride offroad, I'd rather it be on something that isn't a 20 mph track segway turd. snow = snowmobile . dirt = atv or enduro/moto/ etc.

You would have to be a Chaz to go out and ride one of these over something like I previously mentioned. I guess that is who they are marketing them towards. Either rich Chaz' or people without machines like I already mentioned.

It's only 4k to start. By the time someone like me is done breaking it...... I'd rather not waste my time or energy.



Anyone saying I'm a hater.. give me one of those and I'd flip it at Pastrana land also. Foam - resi - woodchip pile, piece of cake.

I do however think it is awesome to see guys like Zach Bright and Mark Gomez called on to represent and tear up this new machine as ambassadors of our sport. You guys rock!

They flipped this thing within 2 days. Line me up in front of a foam pit without any prior shredder experience and I will flip it within a few tries.

This thing is wayyy limited by its design and function. It will fall on its face before it is ever released. I feel sorry for the investors!

Who here has rode a motorized mountain board? They are a lot of fun and this thing seems just as fun. Fail on marketing execution,, I would advice bring them to freerides if you want to sell them to jetskiers

Couple take aways from this....it didn't take two days. They just happened to be doing other things. I know, hard to believe anyone would want to learn to actually ride something before flipping it, goes against everything the X stands for, right? Buy a ski, start the following thread "What parts do I need to flip it?" Nothing better than EVERY freeride where someone who can't slash or hardly stand up claims their pancake as a 3/4 flip attempt.

Durability was impressive. I saw that thing get dropped numerous times, hit the mulch, hit the dirt, coping etc and kept on rocking.

Also, how much sand is actually in your box? And by box I mean your lady parts. Time to put the keyboard down.

The shredder is a cool machine, there is nothing else like it. I knew this would make it to the x and figured this was about how it would go and that is why I don't post here much. Congrats to Zack, Mark and Ryan who took an idea, took it to the foam pit, and put one to dirt the same day.

I'm curious how/why they called you guys Zach. Have you met some of those guys before? Is it because it has a handle pole so they thought jet skiers would like it? Either way, it's HUGE for our sport to have you guys working with TP
