Custom/Hybrid Okie XFS 771 Build

My dive style boots were slippery with the RRP turf, but 2 other sets of wet shoes I use are excellent on thier turf, of course it is cheaper and easier to get new shoes!

Looking good, Austin! Like the pics sitting inside the bare hull.

Make sure to sand paint off of the 2 grounding bosses in the ebox before reassembly.

what kind of mods? can you share any?

Sorry, but they are super secret and can not be shared..lol

Ya i can get some photos up later.

Dose the pump shoe have the 4 screw holes already there or do you line the pump shoe up then screw into fiber glass

There is 4 little pilot holes pre-drilled for the pump shoe. you may have to enlarge to screw holes depending on what size SS screw you use.

Here are the few mods i have had to do so far to make things fit correctly.

Grind off the bottoms of the hood prong nut plates.

Flatten or cut off the angled alignment base on the rubber strap holders for the WB and fuel tank.

Shorten the hood latch base so the latch will close.

Re-installed pump assembly with cooling lines, hooked up the trim cable and blocked off the suction bilge.

Homemade trim cable rubber seal. Piece of 1/2" hose with a piece of 5/16 hose inside of it.

I like the building process...also wondering if the prop is correct for that setup as I run the 9/15 hook with the same pump and stock bore raider trim nozzle. A 10/16 hooker is alot more prop than the 9/15 IMO.

I will get some pictures up soon. The motor mounts and mid-shaft housing have been on back order from Rhaas, so I haven't been able to do much, I'm suppose to receive them this week.

Looks fricken awesome man!

Thanks!

For my freestyle setup I was told to run the 11/17 by two well know engine builders.

I got the motor mounts in today! Installed mounts, fuel tank bracket and mid-shaft spacer plate.

Homemade fuel tank bracket...I think it turned out nice.:Banane25:

We're hoping to. Alan and Tyler are going to buy wetsuits. I already have one and have still been riding texoma when the wind picks up.

Hit me up soon. I'm getting another ski in a few days that will replace my sxr so I'll be riding soon.

Nice work. I love seeing updates on this thread.

How did you make the fuel tank bracket, and how did you fasten it to the hull? Are you running a stock SJ tank?
