opinion on factory type 4

Ok, there ya have it folks, mystery solved.
They could just have easily called it a d pipe, depending on perspective of course.
They are good pipes- just not for everyone.

lol!:headbang: turns out felonyrider says one of the pipes i have is a riva.. its the same as the type4 but doesn't have that extra brace.. it looks pretty much the same as the type4 so im guessing it suck's too?????? lol this thread rocks!

Well now i hate this pipe even more. Factory pipe cant warranty the broken piece, they cant replace it because they stopped making them, so they said theyd just ship it back :banghead: WTF?

They did say they'd give me a deal on a new b pipe! A whole $50 off. Thats great for someone who can afford a $700 pipe but i sure cant :banghead:

Call them back, talk to somebody other than Cindy. They can repair it if they wanted to.

Yea that is exactly what happened to Smurfs. And they could have fixed it and charged you for it for Gods sake. What a holes. A welder can fix it for you.
 
Rather get a local machinist and welder to repair it. Measure depth to step in header, make piece 0,5-1mm shorter(It is 2-3mm shorter as it comes, lets too much gases to o-rings, burning them)
