I know they say God will not give you more than you can handle, or he does not give you anything that he knows you cannot handle, but he is really pushing me right now, My sister had to suddenly leave and head back to Nashville, Eddie (Brother In Law) may be having a heart attack ......... Currently he is at the Hospital or Cardiologist. Not sure how much more I can take....

Good to hear BK. I see that same situation day in and out at work. By the time I get most of these folks admitted they are pissed they are having to stay because their chest pain is gone. Prayers for your family man. Its a tough time, but tough times make tougher people.

talked to my sister finally. He got home sat night from my dads funeral. Sunday he got up and started.cutting grass. Got really hot. Sunday night he just could not get comfortable. 1am he went to ER. Checked and released. Got home around 5am. 6am alarm goes off (forgot to turn off) woke up, started his day.. started feeling worse. Went back to ER.

It is easy for me to say, I know, but it could provide some perspective to you in your time of need. Please understand that I mean it in the best possible way. Watch Mel Gibson's documentary "Hacksaw Ridge" and especially watch all the additional stuff at the end especially the interview with the person portrayed in the movie to see how our Faith can be tested on this Earth. Maybe it will give you strength.

Seen the movie a few times. Great Movie. Not really going to give me any perspective......... This was one of those moments when you call your Mama to check on her and to be told your Brother in Law may be having a heart attack. It was one of those moments in time where the emotional load comes crashing down on you and there is nothing you can do. You cannot breath. A million things are flashing through your mind. Is he going to die, How is my sister going to handle this after just loosing our father... How are her kids going to handle it......... Luckily they are on top of it, hopefully they can figure out what is up, put a stint in if need be.

Neighbor went into hospital last week and has dementia. Crazy how they can be perfectly fine and the next day they cant remember who you are.

Now its my Mom's turn, Her health started declining March 2021 after she was in hospital for a UTI. They stopped her Heart Meds...... Turned her into a cardiac patient. 3.5 weeks later they got that under control. But that much time in the bed for an 83 year old woman who was already having issues walking did her in as far as being able to move around on her own. Went from having part time care to 24/7 care. Luckily my Dad planned well and we have the money to keep her in their apartment (Retirement Community) and have the care she needs. She has been wheel chair bound ever since. She does walk with a walker some, but only very short distances, cannot get up on her on. To make long story short, Issues with a caregiver and oldest sister last summer and fall. Ended up having to let her go first of the year. Issues with Sister and My Wife is not good. My Sister tries to take advantage of everything. Causes constant problems. My mom is seeing it. But damn. Just an Effed up Situation. May add more later....... Just so over it. Stuck in the middle. Wife wants nothing to do with her now, causing issues with our Daughter. So She in full Mama Bear Mode now. I get it. But it is also still my Oldest Sister............................. Honestly, other night I hit an all time low almost......... My mind really started going somewhere it shouldn't go.

Hang in there @Big Kahuna. It is hard when we lose our parents. Sometimes families fracture due to the stress. Think about how hard it would be on your daughter and wife to lose you. Hang in there.

This movie may be a little too much for you and your family now, but my wife and I (we have both lost our Moms and I have also lost my Dad) laughed out loud watching it and they say that laughter is the best medicine:

Haven't posted anymore. Went off rails even more. Caught her trying to manipulate my mom. Sent me a ling text saying "Mama wants me to take her to as many appointments as possible " this after her telling me she was done.... then sends "please do not talk to mama about this"....... yeah, my mom did not say that. She said "i.am fine with Sister or Anita taking me........ we not spoken in almost 2 weeks. Not responded to her last 4 text messages....
