This guy is dead set on revoking my license if he catches me trying to flip ever again

That sounds like a legitimate case of personal harassment and abuse of power. I would contact a lawyer and send him and his boss a very clear and concise letter. Every office seems to have at least one over the top officer that needs to be put in his place. I've done it on two occasions. Both had numerous complaints of the like lodged against them and they were both instructed to not even so much as look at me wrong afterwards.

I attended a policeman's ball months afterwards and the staff Sergeant thought it would be hilarious to seat us together. He ended up walking out of the event shortly afterwards. Anytime I watch the movie, "The Green Mile" and see the character "Percy", I am reminded of that officer.

Brian, your lucky, you just have to deal with 1 agency, if you ride in the Niagara River you will have 1) Erie county sheriff 2) NYS Parks Police 3) North Tonawanda Police 4) Tonawanda police 5) US Border patrol 6) NYS police 7) Hamburg Police (Jet skis) 8) US Coast Guard 9) US Coast Guard Aux. 10) OPP- Ontario Provincial Police 11) Buffalo Police Marine (mostly divers/body finders) and finally 12) Canadian Coast Guard. Yes, there are days when you see more police boats then pleasure boaters.

damn sounds like the DNR on our lake. banned ratti from it for flipping and rolling and have pulled me over in the middle of the lake and made me take my lifejacket off to prove it was coast guard approved. They hate us for some reason. I don't even do rolls with them around for fee of getting fined.

How do you get banned from a lake? Taxpayer money pays their salary and its there for public enjoyment. Whats next speeders banned from using public roads?

I ust be fortunate where I ride, most of the marine cops are pretty laid back. They ride by and wave, obviously checking for life jackets and reg, but they never have hassled us about fire extinguishers or checked VINs. Worst one I ran into questioned me about a reg sticker that peeled off, but went on his way when I explained and he saw the other one. Also I've only ever seen marine police from the city, never a tx game warden.
Yeah they are usually pretty kool on the bayous. I've had to help them with their boat a few times lol. Texas is a great state for the most part.

If I remember correctly, he DID pay his fines but eventually had to keep a copy of the receipt with him at all times because they kept arresteing him for the same thing over and over. Gotta love a small town with nothing for the fuzz to do.
