Pigpen's WDK rokr build "Harley Quinn"

Location

I purchased a used rokr last week that will be next week sometime so I figured I would start a build thread. So as of today I tore down my donor ski "orangie". Turns out it was a little more beat then I thought. The xscream 61x has a melted piston, blown front crank seal, frozen up B pipes bolts, wiped out midshaft, and the fiberglass was beat on it. With that being said not a lot will get transferred over to the RokR.

The plan for the RokR is -
ported 781BB (62t/61x)
Dual mikuni 38's
ADA head 35cc
Ported B-pipe with blaster chamber
RRP cast pole
Stock 144 pump
Thrust trim

More of a budget build but should still be a solid ski. More pics to follow once the ski is delivered Thursday.

Sounds all to familiar. Got my donor motor out of my superjet to find a bad front crank seal and smoked front piston. So my "just swap everything over" build just took a nose dive. Good luck with your build im subscribed

Thankfully I had picked up a BB781 mid season and just never did anything with it. Now I have a fresh engine to drop in. Over the winter I'll probably rebuild the old motor as a backup if my brother doesn't decide to take it.

Official weigh in was 91.2 pounds with turf, ride plate, hood hardware, ebox mounts, battery hold down, straps, couch mounts, midshaft, and bilge pump. Hood weighs 12 pounds. So not too bad for a all glass hull. So far I have found out my limited chamber is to long. Older xmetal waterbox will need cut and rewelded. Superjet drive shaft is 2" too long. Unsure what tank will fit with new chamber (more then likely will be a blaster chamber). I also will need a new short pole as well. Good thing it's winter and I will have a solid 6 months before next riding season.

Dang you already got that sucker in there. Looks good so far. I also had to have my driveshaft swapped for a pre 08 for it to fit in my ROK. Im thinking I may go the limitedslip7 3.5 gal tank

I know I don't wanna run anything less then 3 gal. I'm pretty sure a fx1 shaft is -2" shorter then a SJ shaft. The forward set engine will be nice in the end, but as of right now it looks like a PITA. Haha

Hey man, don't complain too much about the forward mounted engine!!! Us RIP guys have that forward mounted engine, and a shortened engine bay opening towards the rear..
Not mine, but here's a pic of one:

Not complaining, it's just making things to fit a little tricky. I played in the garage for a bit with my limited chamber and was able to get it to fit nicely. I just need to do some fab work on my old xmetal can. The forward mounted engine should be nice to get the nose down a bit.

The water box is laying on its side and pushed all the way to the front of the nose in the pic, I'm gonna cut the top section of the dual exhaust T off and run a 90° elbow off of that side. Hopefully on the left side with the chamber I can get it attached to the box with another elbow. Appears there will be enough room.

What midshaft setup are you running? Its weird that with the engine set forward, that the driveshaft would be too long.
I believe it's a raider midshaft, it's quite long. Looks to be 2"-2.5" longer then a SJ shaft.

Wasn’t the Huck Norris a trendsetters prototype? Like a +4 Phantom built for the surf?
