the swell looked pretty big today.... the water has never looked so nasty. its full of the yellow foam and think i its been red tide? idk but its been gross lookin out there

Red tide is def kicking in looks like blood in the water , lets just hope its not full of huge Jellyfish like 2 years ago, oh did I mention the great white shark that chomped a surf board last weekend in Morro ???
Please believe. On a borrowed square, no less. I hope the forecast delivers...something tells me that 20 footers at Pismo will be pretty sexy compared to what things typically look like here when it gets that big. For us, a lot of those big days are all about defense.

there have been a ton of shark sightings this year. my buddy was surfin a local spot called hazards and saw a ton of jellyfish onshore!!!! no bueno!!!!!

pismo is probally the worst place for holding size...it gets closed out when its head high...i wonder why the only guys you see surfing it are groveling in the whitewater on their stomaches on a rental longboard?? i think there is an old interview with kelly slater where he describes the worst wave hes ever had to do a contest at..pismo..but when its smaller its rippable on a ski...my prediction is 8'-10' faces..kinda bumpy but still fun..trust me if its any bigger than that it will be rediculace..
oh yea and the surf was incredable down here yesterday...i rode a mysto reef i havent seen break at this time of year ever..superlow tide made for some peaks popping up you never see except for when its huge

the Quality of the surf really will depend on the wind,
its too bad that Pismo usually gets an onshore wind around 11 am
So peps with hangovers get the slop, and by the time the contest starts It could be real bumpy
