And grind your bedplates down so they don't rub holes in the chamber.

I have been seeing a lot of B pipes for sale with rub marks nearly through the chamber, yes, yours might not rub, yes it can be welded, but why not take 5 minutes and knock the corners off your bedplates. If not for you, for the next guy.

Limited or mod? My limited wasn't rubbing there I don't think, but I just got a mod. My destroyer bolt did take a nice chunk out of my limited though. Left backmost bolt needs like 3/4" cut off of it.

but if you keep all the existing b pipes in good condition, then they won't sell any new ones and factory pipe will stop making them. then they will cost 9000.00.
The future sucks!

I bought a carbon B-pipe off Yamanube a few years back and he told me about this mod at the time. I checked the other B-pipe I had purchased new a few months earlier and found it was rubbing there as well.

Now I trim all my bed plates just to be sure. Only takes a few minutes and could save you some money and a day of riding.

Or you could just put a dent in the chamber where it happens.

So the options are:

1. Put a dent into the carefully designed, tuned $400 chamber
2. Spend 10 minutes to grind down a corner on a $7 bed plate.

Ima hafta think about that one, I'll get back to ya'll.

I'll second the fact that if you install destroyer tubbies, make sure you grind the bolts that end up behind the chamber, It felt like a high frequency vibration while the chamber and destroyer bolt were hitting each other
