The simple fact is anyone who is into jetski's will come browse this forum, pwctoday, and maybe even that green hulk place too. If they are 650sx+x2 people, there are alot more people like them and info at pwctoday. If your into yami's, aftermarket hulls, and being all around awesome, you'll tend to find this is a much better place to find the info your looking for. Either place can talk about either brand, just one tends to get your the answers faster then the other. Its not a knock againts the site, or the people posting on it. By not steering people in the direction of the best and easiest to access info for their particular choice of ski, your being selfish and only hurting them. I use and like both sites myself.

If someone ask a question, And I know there is someone at another site that I know can give them the best info out there. I have no problem and have done so, sent them over there (Mainly if said person was not active on this site).

We are not in competition with PWCToday....... We have never been. I dont go over there as much, I use to when I still raced and kept up with racing more. Why? More info..........

You should take a peek in an old Daytona Beach thread from six or seven years ago. Us X2 guys showed up in force and had a blast but the SJ guys didnt like it. Four or five guys had negative things to say about us. I never clicked on this forum again till a couple years ago. I found it to be waaay more drama filled than pwct. Last year my son bought a chan and I enjoyed every minute of stiring it up with Steve and Buzzard. with the most recent bannings this place has gotten better .

For simple x2 questions they will get answered but if someone says "im a newb and i just bought an X2 " , im sending them to the place with more info than any other. The x2 section is moderated just fine. It gets multiple posts every day over there . The vintage section over there is booming. Very little to no drama. Being a mod over there i see every filed complaint and there have been maybe four in the past six years. Were all big boys. We can handle it. No need to shut stuff down. We just delete stupid stuff and let it go. Untill these last bannings id say this place was far worse than there.

The x2 revolution was brought back to life by a very old thread over there called surf jumper 2.0 , go read it and enjoy.

Peace

To be honest, the past few meet-ups I've been to I've mentioned I frequent both sites and most peoples responses are either they never heard of either site or haven't been on either in ages. Not sure what people use nowadays, it sounds like most use Facebook groups? Guess it's just different times now. Hold on I need to go yell at some damn kids to get off my lawn.

Yep, FB, Instagram, etc, but forums are still the best resource for searching/digging through stuff no matter what topic it is.

I never understood the Yamaha Kawi debate, but I have noticed that this site in the past was a little hard on Kawi guys but it has changed some. I use both sites like most of you. There are groups of really good guys on each site that can help. I see vintage growing like said before because of cost and availability, if you can get someone riding a vintage ski chances are if they will get hooked and by more skies and ad to the sport.
