Another question while we have all the carb experts in one thread.

Do you ever run staggered jetting/pop off on twins or triples? And when do you know when you need to run staggered jetting?

No I haven't. When they normally run staggered jetting is on runabouts with big pumps that can put a lot of load on the crank. It's a safety thing. Like the lower compression on one cylinder on the 760 and the staggered timing on the gp1200

Wax is correct. The runabouts with the heavier load, the output side cyl does the lions share of the work and requires more fuel to do so. I have never had the need to do so on freestyle standups.

This is my fx1 with stock 760 carbs. of course with a major rejet.

What do you think about manufacturing a t/l specific light flywheel for this ignition? I imagine that would be costly to produce

you could do it but then you may as well get the stock one and pull the magnets out. its cheap and very reliable and light with the magnets out. I did think about it but decided not to for this reason

Wax, is your CDI in the fx-1 stock? It sounds like the limit is rather elevated

Sorry if I have missed info from old posts, what's the weight on the stocker w/o magnets?

its using a zeeltronic setup, 760 front cover and flywheel. Zeeltronic ignition with the wax racing products curve.
I cant remember what the flywheel weighs with out magnets. I did one a while ago and it was very light but i sold that ski

Or send it off to #ZERO and have it lightened and ring gear drilled etc
