I saw a can the other day. I need to go back to the store and measure it out, cuz it might fit. 4 gallon tank. Tall though... Tying it down might be fun, if it fits.
Why wouldn't you just run a stock tank in that case? What if someone wasnt running a pfp just b pipe. How quick could u have one ready to go
Has anyone put one on a 701 yet to see how it works vs a B pipe?
Post #10 asked that same question....
I just fitted a pfp to a stock 701 with Ada head in a xfs
ive always wondered this. i want one of these pipe and will probably end up with one. main reason being factory pipes service SUCKS i called yesterday some lady answered the phone and said were basically closed. really? why would you answer the phone i asked her if they had an eta on an limited pipe she said im not in sales and i do not make them so i couldnt tell you. hmm ok she said call back in a week and merry christmas and hung up.
Just finishing my xfs build should be on the water this weekend
Any updates?
Does anyone sell the PFP without the resonator or waterbox? I'd prefer to make my own and maybe save some money...
I have found a 760 running light weight fly wheel 195 psi the power is massive in the mid range but not very good off the bottom I have just fitted a Flame total loss to try and waken up the bottom end and will let you know.
At this stage if the flame doesn't work I will compare a b pipe but the mid and top end is massive.
XFS
740cc
light weight flywheel
vf2 reeds
44" carbs
ada head 195psi
solas mag pump
12/18 solas big hub
thrust trim
True light weight flywheel? or stock lightened?
740cc what cylinder? try a smaller prop[/QUOTE
mate I did ask you what you where running in your 760 on the video ? But you didn't know ( unless I got you confuesd with someone else ). :-( tried a 9/15 but was having carby problems and thought it was the prop so changed
ok so with TL it rips such a good set up everyone said it makes massive power but is a little light switchy with the way the power comes on but I'm still fine tuning it with pump and carby so it's only going to get be bettering .
i would rather learn proper technique with the 760 then upgrade latter and I already have the pipe and TL
