Lets hope everyone's ski will actually run this year!

I love to watch John Kaszer.....and Parr. Stoyer has been going bigger than ever lately so who knows .......

it is a toss up :arms:

and isn't there a "rumor" before every competition that Malone will be there?

ever since I starteed jetskiiing, my favorite person to watch has always been stoyer

He's always good to watch. He used to lose his ski quite often, but I haven't seen that out of him in awhile. He has some good equipment this year too. All the guys that I have heard are coming put on a good show. This year should be substantially more competitive than last year.....assuming everyone is up and running.

I would say Malone........he goes bigger, does more combos and looks cleaner than pretty much everyone. He also puts together a nice routine that avoids repetition. Not to mention he will be on the best equipment

Last year I think Parr had the best routine. By far the most entertaining and diverse routine, but the tricks did not score well with the judges. I see the same thing happening this year. Parr being the most entertaining but the big flips and rolls taking the prize

Were you there last year, did not remember seeing you.

As far as routines go, They all actually sucked. Parr had the most variety but he was riding a boat that he was not comfortable on nor setup the way he needs it to be. (Sorry Gildo). Lustic was having motor problems. Stoyer did not have a great run. Ratti had the cleanest run, but he really did not do much. I think he was still getting use to the XScream 1000. I have seen him have better runs with a 84mm big bore motor.

No offense taken. The only other ski I can step on and be real comfortable on is Tricky's orange ski. On that ski I feel right at home, all other skis I am lost for a good while.

So, if EM wins we'll have to hear about the Q8 not being truly legal for the following two weeks. There is sure to be the outcry for rule enforcement (again) and a push to erase pro rules (again). Yawn
Oh yeah, there will be a "pushing the sport to a new level" debate, too (again).

Those are my predictions.

I just want everyone to put on a good show, and everyone can walk away saying they did their best. Leave it at that, and be happy without complaining or making excuses for their performance ( or lack of ). It's all for fun.

I don't know about that. None of the other pros that are supposed to be there have a history of whining about rules. I could be wrong about this year, but I'm thinking that "rules" won't be an issue. Judging.....that's a whole different issue...

WF is the only place that people bitch and it is always the japs that bitch. No one complains about Nationals.

Oh, the Japs bitched about the FS-1 and the Q8's. They will show up with their copy and expect to be able to run them. But I think they changed the rules after last year (IJSBA)

Yes, the IJSBA rules changed, and the boats all need to be within a set measurement of the stock version they are based on. The skis will be penned up for all riders to see during tech inspection, and any rider can protest a competitors boat during the tech inspection period. I think Lenzi is going to have to claim his ski is based on a 300SX for his length to be legal.
