He will have to remove the bracket, bolt on the pole and install the bracket.

Before you say that it sounds like a pain just think how often you take your pole off.:barrel:

Could you post a close up picture of the footholds with the padding.
How much did you use on top ?

I need to finish adding foam back by the ankle. But the under side of the foothold has 8mm of foam on it. It also has a 8mm foam under pad w/ turf on the tray. Once the turf is on the top it will be a nice fit, but not so tight that I can't bail if need be.

The piping of foam is 3 layers sandwiched together and then shaped with some course sand paper. I just wanted a little design in the turf but it also provides cushion for your ankle, allows for a little lift but does not take up space on the tray so you still have 100% of that area to position your feet. Feels nice! The foam piping achually follows the outline of the foohold so it makes the hold itself a little deeper and also cushions your ankle or leg from nailing the lip of the foot hold.

The "jump bump" or whatever you want to call it, is made w/ about 4 layers of 8mm foam. I have found that the trick when constructing one of these is to put the bow eye close to the middle. This will compress the foam and make the bump an nice sterdy ridge. I like to cut the front of the bump at a 60 degree angle, just wide enough for both feet. The sides need to be smoothed out and cut flush with teh 8mm under pad to allow the tray to properly drain and allow your shins to rest comfortably when riding on your knees.

Thanks for those

I could never get the padding to sit in the hold that nice. I did use the 25mm stuff which was a bit of a pain.
As a result of not enough padding I have a nice permanent bump on my left foot.

Again, thanks for the pictures. They inspired me to add some new cushion.

BTW, that ski is looking great.

Yeah, I have found that 8mm on the top and bottom works well on the REV's

wow, it coming along now. That ski is going to haul...and its looking real nice too.

I think I have the motor dialed in now. Seems to run better everytime I have it on the water. I also just picked up a set of full spec 49's so I can tinker with those at some point this season.

Pole arived today. NICE!!!!!! Best constructed pole I have ever seen  Very sterdy and sanitary design. Simple but effective. Tips the scale at little over 10lbs............was it worth the wait???? YES!! I put the steering system on there and with no pole spring it is very light in your hands. :brap: He even added a little texallium in-lay under the pad. :cheer:

This pole is $995 and worth every penny IMO!!! It is lightyears ahead of anything else on the market. I have seen everything else out there and this is just on anouther level. PIA to get but when he does have them in stock I would jump all over one if you have the means.

picked up at set of 3 full spec 49mm carbs that I will tinker with at some point durring the season. Selling one 49 for sure and might sell the other 2 or the Riva 48's if I feel the full specs hit better. But the riva's hit really well.
