No issues with my particular tank, but my buddy has one and it won't seal around the cap. You tighten the cap and it won't actually tighten down. We put tape around the threads then tightened it.

i bought tank used off member. after building ski n wanted to test fire, so i was blowing in fuel return line to prime the setup n all i could hear is large amounts of air coming from the cap area.


Guess ill be doing the tape trick ha

I bought mine from Blowsion, then ordered his for him from some kart racing company online. From a distance they look the same but have some differences between the two and are the same size. I have 0 complaints about my Blowsion kart tank.

Was your breather predrilled in the center?

its a plastic nipple that was there...

Yeah, my Blowsion one doesn't have that. It comes with a brass nipple that you drill a hole and insert the fitting wherever you want. I put mine on the side. Some people do it on the cap.

got some tray time in this afternoon. about 25-30 minutes. i didnt have a wetsuit so my comfort zone wasnt there. but had a great time. enjoyed the hull for the little time i was on it. my 718 and mag pump made this thing fly. cant wait to get back out there

little update, got the thing fully assembled.
RTR weight WITH 2 gallons of fuel. this ski also has trim and a bilge to add maybe a pound or 2. i was pretty excited when we got it on the scale and this popped up
