Custom/Hybrid Prosouth's BOB G2 Assembly

so i got my bedplates painted.... they were pretty gross looking before.

then i painted my bpipe black because i dont do shiny. if its got some gloss to it i paint it. then i said "not enought" so here it is. The motors "stabbed" (meaning bolts are loose, not shimmed, bpipes off) and looks pretty good

its the "mod" chamber the bpipe itself is less than a year old i bought it new from Blowsion last year.

No updates today, hopefully have a shimmed motor tomorrow. Battery is charging and hope to get thebpipe in.

assembled and turning over. gotta mix up some fuel. change nozzles and run dual cooling lines. gettttting real close real close.

And howd you paint the chamber?

i got a couple small sheets that may work for you. pm me your addy and i can ship you some. i scuffed up the pipe with a scotch brite pad, cleaned it off with acetone. couple coats of primer then a couple coats of satin black. then "splatter painted' it. you can google a how to on it. and then cleared over it.

Got everything in, bolted down. mixed up some fuel and turned her over. wouldnt ever start. pulled the plugs and no spark. so IMABADFISH hooked me up with a new set of electronics that should be here Tuesday or Wednesday. but the weather is looking pretty crappy around here this week so it may be a little chili next weekend.

any issues with cart tank not holding pressure well?

mine seems to have slow air leak by the fill cap im trying to chase out.



i put a hose clamp around cap n tightened it up to give a tighter/better seal...seems to have helped but ill have to double check on it cause i wont tank air tight.

No issues with my particular tank, but my buddy has one and it won't seal around the cap. You tighten the cap and it won't actually tighten down. We put tape around the threads then tightened it.
