Question for those of you who've shortened your hull from the outside...

Putting in a new ignition, trim, and fixing a few other things mid season so I thought I might as well cut a few inches off the back while I'm at it.
Would you rather reuse end caps and only have to lay glass over the seam and then underneath the tray, or ditch the end caps and lay glass over both the end of the hull and underneath the tray?
Just curious. I think both ways aren't that much more difficult than the other...

Thought so. I'm stoked. Will be nice to be able to compare it back to back to stock length since I'm doing it mid season.

Get er done! I love how I used to be so scared of doing glasswork and now mid season I'm chopping my hull, lol.

I will. Just need to find a wakesurf boat to plow for me. Wakesurf rollers get to over chest high when they make a loop...
