For the little tray time i had in it, i loved it! its a very stable ski, does not ride nose high, and feels incredibly light. I rode a 701 62t with TL, 11/17 prop and solas mag. It carves very well, and soars even with that power. I rode a bob gen 3 directly after and had alot of trouble riding it compared to the brawler (stabilty and nose high was a concern) On the bob i always felt like i was going to tip it. I have very little AM hull time, but there was a clear difference there that i really liked. I have seen them FW backflip on 701 based motors as well. there are 4 near myself. If i could afford one, i think it would be the right hull for me.

Im hoping i can grab a friends when he goes to the next gen.

super stable, rides nose down. very superjetish. but, LIGHT! what I really liked, was when you pulled on the trim lever about 1/4 it would pull the nose up and plow. which makes for a bigger setup wake. These will be on my radar after I sell my bob.

depends on your layup I rode a carbon one and I think bare hull was around 60. heavy or light layups are probable options, and also glass

never too excited about aftermarket hulls either for surf but i got a glass layup brawler and ive really enjoyed it so far. like they say it feels very superjet like in all the good ways but does have a lot more ability to rip hard turns or flip with stock power stock pump :) I think for surf a front toe hold is necessary to help increase tray room for surf stance and not have your foot slide up the dash area. Gunwhales are nice and rounded for less abuse when falling on them or reloading etc. Pump tunnel is not massive and close to stock which doesnt make it toooo hooky like many big flatwater based pump tunnels. It does have the large indention right before the intake tunnel. Im def adding tubbies as i think all skis need them in surf for best turning and control etc. The good thing about this hull is it will fit all tubbies that are made for superjets. So far i have had a handful of surf only riders have a go on it and all were ready to bash it etc beforehand but no one had anything negative to say :) Lots of people surprised that it didnt take a lot of getting used to. Also it will still go fast in a straight line perfectly normal, not porpoising or falling to the side.

The biggest thing that I can say is Brain and Josh are great guys! easy to work with and they always answer their phones. I'm on hull #2 from them now and I had no issues sending them a large chunk of cash to build the second hull this year after how smooth the first hull went. Can't wait to get this new hull!!

Just ordered mine and all i can say is I think this hull is very playful in the surf and definitely able to get it done in flat. So Carbon for me for the best of both worlds. Now I have to learn how to slow down my rolls in the surf so as not to do 1 1/2 each time. I see me getting more height in the future with this change as the weight difference will be substantial to my old glass hulls. Front foot hold is a MUST in the surf on these and now with their full width mod its prefect. BTW Carter you were killing it on that ski

Well why didnt you lol! Does anyone that rode it feel the bottom deck could stand to be an inch or 2 longer out back?

If I recall that was a heavy layup close to 90#

Man, I'm used to skis that plow. This one was perfect. It laid flat, but if you pulled the trim lever a tad, it would pull the nose up just enough. I pulled the trim lever in all the way and rode it around with 0 issues. I loved it.
