Ramjet's Envy Build

I got a little anal retentive on the bottom side of the bondline, but at least i know its watertight and its not coming apart.

You Texas folk need to be working on that sxr project instead of sharing milkshakes at the dairy queen.

nice work!! A sealed bond line is extremely crutial in keeping your boat dry :arms:

Everything in my shop is a dusty mess right now. If it wasnt so cold, i'd done my grinding outside, but it was 14 degress today so #$%^ that.

Everything is glued and foamed, bondrail is trimmed, footholds are in. I need to seal all the tubes going through the bulkhead and pump area, but want to wait till i find some black 5200.

Tomorrow when the footholds are dry they get sanded and smoothed up a bit, then hydroturf goes on.

Hull now weighs 103lbs as shown, the red kevlar just looks awesome in person. I beat myself up trying to lay a perfect bead of green glue, but its just to hard to work with. It is also really hard to trim and try to lay that carbon where it looks right. I don't know why i do this to myself, its too much energy in an engine compartment, but the small part you'll be able to see will look pretty good.

I used the same carbon/kevlar on my ski. It is an awesome look!

It's funny, at this stage when you go into your shop, you see every imperfection and it pisses you off, once you get everything in there it looks great, and after the first ride you don't even think about it anymore lol.

This is a great build so far, I'm anxious to see what you do with the motor. Keep up the good work.

i know what you mean, i get all picky when i'm putting them together, then after the first ride, i treat them really bad.
