Rattle can paint job. Need tips

I'm Still currently sanding. I got my Beastly 550 running so that's what I did on Saturday.
Just using a 320 grit on a block. Going until the small scratches and what I guess people are calling orange peel go away. I Can see the previous color of blue underneath with the last places logo coming through. I don't think Ill go that deep, again, just trying to get rid of the imperfections a little, and get to a smooth surface. Then ill wipe it down with this industrial greaser I have. Then start attacking it with spray cans.

Well. Bringing a thread back from the dead. I just got my superjet together recently. Took so long because I was taking more classes and summer classes.


I ended up having my buddy put it together for me in exchange for the extra hull. And I painted it.
Used the rustoelum appliance paint. The white came out fine. The black was a struggle. Never could get it to my liking. Just gave up after try 13.
But once it's together I'm ready for summer.
