Raw Power Carnage !

if the shaft pulled out through the front, itd "press" itself out, under its own propulsion, when in use since it has an extreme forward force.

Well now that I think about it, he could drill and tap the shaft right in front of the prop, put the prop removal tool on, and then screw a bolt in that would clear the tool... tighten the bolt in, and use it to hold the shaft while unscrewing the prop. Not too tough...

he'd need a reverse thread tap and bolt unless he drilled and tapped the rear of the shaft. :wavey:

Now that I look at it, unless I am having some sort of because it's late atr night problem, what I suggested would work. Prop spins to the right to tighten itself, and the bolt would turn to the left to loosen, so switch those and the impeller is coming off. :popworm:

nope. yami threads are reversed at the impeller.

Then I think the shaft was already cracked/damaged.
I believe the ********ty stock couplers give up way before a driveshaft. Ask me how I know. :crying:

Did this happen after landing from a jump, or after the pump got back in the water after getting unhooked?
(You might have already answered that....sorry. I just got back from the ER with 105 degree fever. I am a bit worse for the wear)

Drilling that driveshaft is a biotch. I tried that once and it defeated all my bits. It's some prettty tough steel. Putting it in a vise didn't work for me either. I had to shape it with a dremmel cutting bit and then put it in a vise. You've got some work ahead of you. Good luck.
