So I am taking the pump apart last night...
And Who does this.... WTF...

All in all, i got the thing apart and back together !
all done,

But heres more carnage !:ugh:

Haha, cheap vise buddy.
I've had the same thing happen to me.
Just had to tell my bro-in-law Phill to sack up and buy me a better one for Christmas.
No problems since.

I freaking Love it ! Sucks I got stuck in the bay in a thunder and lightning storm, BUT GOD DAMN that 828 has more balls than some 8 mils..

Attached is my proof !

And yes my wife is jelous that I am in love with the motor...
Team Scream Power rocks....:hail:
(No there was nothing caught in prop or pump)

Son of a &^%$!! I have the same motor and the SAME THING happened to me today. No pictures yet, but judging from what I felt through the scoop grate it's an identical break.

Soooo are there better driveshafts out there? Or do I just grab another stocker off the X?

That is from the drive shaft being wore out and going airborne and not letting off the gas causing the pump to get loaded up with water really quick. Most times you are fine, but when they are worn out, something has to give.

Thanks. Took some work getting it apart but it's finally done. Grinding flat spots wasn't enough to hold it. I ended up welding a nut to the back of the driveshaft to hold it in the vise.

Aaron

I used a big arse pipe wrench !
then used the prop tool !
