Nice! l like the small size and can lots of uses for itI saw this new electric ratchet today , it's kinda slick and not available here in the states yet , you can buy the ratchet kit with all the bits and sockets though , just the ratchet is 15617 yen which is about $103.00 , that thing is only about 8.5 inches long with a narrow head about an inch wide , the handle is about the same size as a screwdriver , it does not reverse you pull the adaptor out and flip it over to reverse .
I may just have to have one . Vessel is the company that makes the awesome JIS screwdrivers.
Exactly what I am thinking , I have used the poor Kimo ratchet damn near every day but even though it's small , it's no where near the as small as this one.Nice! l like the small size and can lots of uses for it
Yup unless you have a bunch of JIS screwdrivers laying around , these Vessel impacta screwdrivers are the shizznitt when you strike them on the end they rotate about 12 degrees but honestly on stuff like Mikuni jet plate screws it usually turns them right out, why you ask , because those are not Phillips screws they are JIS screws , what you are doing with an hand impact or a tang through screwdriver hammering it into the screw is reshaping the head of the screw to fit the Phillips screwdriver !That hand impact driver is a must have for working on Jetskis.
Yes that is a very good deal , I actually have two Snapon roll cabs and three top boxes but I bought them years ago when they didn't cost as much as a new car lol .This is the tool box I'm after. $200 off in both Canada and US right now. It's still $500 CAD more than the USD price, but after exchange rate my gas to drive to Buffalo, it's about the same.

I have thought about getting a JIS set but wondered if it would be worth it. Sometimes those screws are on there so dang tight anyways that the impact might be neededYup unless you have a bunch of JIS screwdrivers laying around , these Vessel impacta screwdrivers are the shizznitt when you strike them on the end they rotate about 12 degrees but honestly on stuff like Mikuni jet plate screws it usually turns them right out, why you ask , because those are not Phillips screws they are JIS screws , what you are doing with an hand impact or a tang through screwdriver hammering it into the screw is reshaping the head of the screw to fit the Phillips screwdriver !
That set is expensive and truefully you just probably need the number 2 and 3 size in the second link.
I have a charger for one of those ratchets and an extra battery if you want it , pay the shipping and it can be yours , I am not going that route again, I have gotten way more use out of this Kimo ratchet than I ever did with my Milwaukee and this one is 3/8 instead of 1/4 .I have thought about getting a JIS set but wondered if it would be worth it. Some good deals at walmart thanks. My buddy gave me that 3/8 milwalkee ratchet, its probably the most used power tool I own. I do wonder if the fuel version would have more torque for breaking bolts free though.
