Hey what do you super jet guys do with trim. How do you use your rear tow loop you had to cut out. I'm normally the one getting towed but still mite come in handy one day.
Thats not to hard on the pump? I ride surf mainly so there are some good 8' waves that can pull your skis in different directions. But if you haven't had problems it's good enough for me
Ride in these conditions and havent had an issue with the rope . Just make sure it is not too slack that it gets caught up in the trim. Just enough to get a carabiner or snap clip under there.
Not if it's the right size, it shouldn't. Even if it did, why would you cut all that glass off that you then would have to seal just because the bow eye hung a little too low?
I'd recommend not jumping to conclusions until a conclusion is needed. Start with putting it all together. If you have to cut stuff, you can always do it later and still ride in the mean time, just with little or no trim pull.
I'm not just jumping to conclusions nor am I just going to hack up my ski with out a trim set up in hand. It was just a question because some people do cut there trays. This is my cats system a lot of Clarence was made.
All I would have done was cut the vertical bond line over the nozzle. But if you've already cut your hull all up, then too late for that. Some hulls mount the stainless u-bolt style bow loop on the transom...
