RICKTER Edge Build - Not another Freak Build!

Got the pumpshoe mocked up. Have to drill holes and tap intake grate threads. Will do a final mockup this morning and then glue the shoe in this afternoon. Waiting on coupler spacers that were missing. So dont see much else getting accomplished this weekend.

They are. This Blowsion Pump shoe nor the Worx intake grate are plug-n-play. Never had to grind an intake grate to fit!

Pump shoe is in. No more grinding. Why in the hell can someone not make a pump show that fits perfectly.

Only grinding was on Blowsion pump shoe and Worx intake grate. You would have to grind these to fit your freak as well!

Meaning, If Blowsion and Worx had taken the time to make their molds correct there would be "Zero" Grinding!!!!!!! That said, the Pump shoe just had to be leveled down to the hull. Honestly, 30 minutes with a belt sander for both items and it was done. Much easier than the Jet Dynamics I put in the Freak.

Hard to say if it’s the hull or the shoe, I’ve installed two RRP shoes in each one of my phantoms with zero modifications. That shows a bit of consistency in both hull and shoe manufacture. Also fit a Blowsion shoe in a rok with zero mods, JD in a rip, that was a different story lol.

I had to put washers on the same two screw holes as a shin on my edge to harrison. Once pump shoes is in, it’s smooth sailing from there. Hate hate hate hate hate doing a pump shoe. Because I take the pump in and out about 100x trying to get the shoe just perfect.

Makes sense. Better performance flushed with the hull. I misunderstood initially I thought it took other modifications to get it fit.

So glad to get this flipped over! Pump is perfectly aligned. Next time I have pump out I need to get a cutting bit and open pump mount holes up a tad, or slot them. Pump has to be compressed forward using 2 allen wrenches in rear bolts.
