Surfriding Rickter Evo 1 Build - Profound Dynamics / TC Freeride

Glad to hear it's fixed up.

I didn't notice serial #s on the CF mounts I got in late Sept... should I be worried?

Dont' trip potato chip ;)

I had some of the original mounts. There was a bad batch of red that got out, Carl posted it up here. All new mounts are fine.

Zack and I tore apart and built the ski up twice yesterday. We did it the first time mid day then went and rode and I was getting pretty heavy vibration. I never bothered to check the alignment, I just put the new mounts in the same spot as the old. Yeah, after that didn't pan out, We tore EVERYTHING out again and started aligning the engine. We finished at 2 am...Then planned to get it at 6:30 and go ride. That didn't happen either lmao. We rode around 11 and the alignment is much better.

Big thanks for Zack for letting me wrench at his place and his fiancé for cooking dinner and letting me stay the night. Some pretty cool peeps.

It wa easy to build. Took maybe 8 hours of actually build time. Prob less but a lot of time we t into the ebox.
First ride I blew the pipe off and broke my steering. Both my fault, thankfully someone had a screwdriver.

To be contined, flight attendant is b!tching

lol,All the typical problems of a fast build, motor alignment, steering cable centering and clearancing. next things that wil become issues are pump shoe alighment, pump alignment and shimming. perfect midshaft spacing so your shaft doesnt strip in a couple dozen rides.
sounds like your gettin her dialed now

I don't think he'll have issues with alignment with pump shoe, mid shaft and pump :) I did it

Taylor did the pump shoe, midshaft alignment , pump alignment and he helped me with getting the engine aligned and we got the mm in the right place and the engine bolted it. Of course it had to come out 5 more times but all the tedious work Taylor handled. He did an Effin good job at it too.

I just had to do the rest ;)

Hi, My names Zack Bright and I like Jet Ski

and my new / used tow rig

But really, all the hard frustrating stuff was done, I just had to do the rest. So didn't take a crazy amount of time. I was in somewhat what of a hurry but I didn't Mcgiver the ski together. The only reason I had time constraints was because I was only in so cal for 9 days and things were busy with the holidays. The ski's been out a couple times and I think we have all the corks worked out.

I think I'm going to order some new couplers at some point. The OEM ones are getting tore up and bent out of shape.
