Just pulled this off El Proffessor in France where I got mine. View attachment 275064
I'm sure they just put up whatever Bloswion describe them though. If the maker says they need to be changed id say it's probably true. Can you email or call them direct?
They had xfr and xfs on the list of skis originally, but took them off after they tried to install their own product on one they realized that they didn't actually fit.

Just had the first ride out with the tubbies on my ski. Can say it's made a huge difference and worth every bit of the money.
It's surf rides a lot tighter now and is a lot more forgiving if you lose your balance.
If you like surf riding these are a must!!!

@WILKEY I never tried a XFS without any of the red spacers.
With PFP instead of FPP is it recomended?? Talking about flat water ride. Thanks

I only had to use spacers because my b pipe head pipe was touching the hood seal. With your pfp manifold being so low you shouldn't need any crank or midshaft spacers. You probably also want your engine as far back as you can get it

I had a B pipe in an XFS whitout any spacer and it didnt hit my hood seal area.
Thank you very much.

The XFS is just like the Evo so it shouldn't have the same problem as the fr2s

Thanks ! Have about 10 tanks through it. Handles like a surf ski should. Loving the finish work as well. I'm still debating removing the ninja footholds and adding surf stance straps. Those footholds take up a lot of space in the tray.

Yes I agree! The evo needed these tubbies when leaving the factory.
Funny you should say that as I broke my toes kicking in my holds at the UK IFWA against Bruno Jacob.
Looking for something I can just slot my feet in now as I'm sick of missing and it hurting. Thinking foaming up behind one hold to keep my foot in without the kick in.

I can definitely see a broken toe in the future with these holds. I am going to give the original Rickter footholds I try. All of my Rickter mates seem to prefer them to the Ninjas, which seem to be more suited for flat water.
If they don't feel right I will try the Bob holds. I am wondering if anyone has used the Bob holds on the Rickters or someone might be working on a new design like Rad Dudes .

I did the same thing about a month ago my pinky toe still hurts. I love the way they hold your foot but man did that hurt. Also my buddy put a strap instead of the hold and I gotta say it's way better.

This is the 3rd time I've done this on my ski. Thinking of something behind my feet so I don't have to kick in.

How has he got the strap....Is it so your feet are pointing forwards or to the side? I ride both feet in the rear for flips and rolls so this may be difficult.

He removed the footholds and just has a front foot hold and the strap has one bolt on the tray and the other on the side so it's just like a regular foot hold. Surf stance flips and rolls are no prob and the strap holds better then the ninjas

A little tricky to get it in the right spot. Mines a hair too far forward but it's nice having it there for some surf slashing where my foot doesn't have to be locked in it. Adjustable foot strap is the bomb. Way more comfortable than the rickter holds. If you kick into it you really lock in. Careful not to get stuckin as I can see an ankle breaker if chit goes wrong

ive done this on my bob too , i thought of
maybe wearing cheap walking shoes as they got a hard front compared to trainers ! broke my toe kicking into
