are you running the coldfusion extended couplers? its puts the motor all the way forward, atleast in the og fr2, dont know about evo and edge.

They're ADA kawasaki style couplers. Not extended. The midshaft has an aluminum spacer, the guy I bought it from had the engine coupler and spacer and its still on his engine because he is too incompetent to remove it.(EVEN AFTER i PAYPAL HIM ANOTHER 110!! Totally dicking me around) Had I bought a few tools when I bought the hull I would of been able to grab it.

Luckily I had a friend with a coupler to match the midshaft and rigged it up for daytona.

The difference in the motor being all the way forward and all the way backwards is huge. All the way back is highly preferred. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do with the bpipe

Whats the huge difference @WILKEY ?

A little bit more weight distribution forward cant change the ride that much. Might make it easier to get the nose to drop on a re-entry or add some more rotation weight coming back around with it further forward. Its winter time ill just gain a few more LBS and help balance it out more haha. I can see if I was @Gliderskier and only weighed 125 lbs wet i would want the motor closer to my feet.

My only time riding this ski was at Daytona. Before this weekend I rode Toms FR-2 for like, 10 minutes. I'm gonna try out the spacer and see if I even notice anything. I'm not happy that my b pipe already took a small bite out of under my hood seal, I can see it only getting worse leaving it as is. Unless I get crazy and end up putting in 6 mounts....

If you relocate the ebox the motor will go back with a b pipe. I have my motor out right now in my XFR and was debating on pushing it back an inch. The owner\rider before me said to leave it forward. Being as it is a short ski I am going to leave it with couplers in. I am also adding a front foot hold that extends into the motor cavity 4-5".

I see lots of pics of people using the XFS or the XFR in surf all the time. Here's a pic posted last night of one

Pierre Maxient says a XFS with a 701 set up is a seriosly fun surf ski with added reliability. One of the lads i ride with has the XFR and loves it, he does over rotate his flips quite a bit though.

Has anyone tried the New Worx 242 for the Rickter out yet ? Looking for some feedback. I believe I have the R&D Toploader (Aquavien) , however I seen this comparison and I might make a change before Wavedaze 2015

Make the change! Hull was made for it. Think about the water that is passing around that thing. Is there any question?

Without a doubt man, I was looking at it thinking about the theory of how much of a difference that wider scoop makes and the water passing through with the old Aquavien.

I am def making the change, I am happy to hear you guys are having success with it as well. :)
