I've been thinking a Bob or Stunt might be the right flatwater ski for me!

Pat I think its gonna be a new Superfreak designed hull......

Zack I love the Rickter... I just need to play with the setup some more to fine tune it. Superjets suck once your on a Rickter, but a lost SJ oh well, lost Rickter = wks of diving. lol

Pat
I'm gonna drop my XS1000 into a superlight flatwater hull, & put a big bore something into the Rickter. That XS1000 is way to much $$$ for a surf ski..

Small motors in Rickters work very well indeed both Zacks and mine are 701 based
and I have more fun on ours than the 1000 cc monsters I have rode, now if I was riding flatwater im sure it would be different

Funny thing is Rickters were supposed to be a flatwater ski. Now they seem to be better suited to the surf and other hulls are taking over flatwater

you dont need a different steering cable....roundi cable works as good as in a SJ if you trim/slit the breather tubes...

the noserail is a must, butti figured out the install......zero compromise to the nose

mine's 701 based as well.....it makes the motor feel absolutly outstanding

I love the FS1/XS1000 B pipe set up.... Its the perfect set up to go big & have fun, but it will hurt you for sure...

My FS1 with the XS865 was perfect surf set up. I can't wait to try Chris/Blue's new BB motor, thats what I'm looking at now with a 144 Mag.

not on a FR-2
zack how is that 145 mag pump working out for been thinking about putting one in mine but wasn't sure how it would work with my engine setup.

cant speak for flat water but in the surf its unreal, both Zack and I are running them in "small motors and the hookup / acceleration is awesome

also be prepared to cut/trim /modify the footholds
the left one is over an inch longer than the right, (3 different skis) and unless you trim them the adjust-ability is nil

yeah me and carl are running it. i just pin the throttle and it keeps hooking up everywhere. you wont be disappointed.

sorry dude, missed that it was a 2

carry on.

the noserail you'll have to wait and see when its done. but you'll like it it'll be strong, simple and clean

no worries.

ooooooooo i cant wait!

new chinpad.....needs a couple little mor finishing touches, but is totally rideable except for the broken hoodstrap

well..........guess i really do need a metal steering nozzle.....busted mine today doing a new trick. that thing sticks out so far on the fr-2 that it gets alot of stress....

Got a few rides on my FS1 with a longer ride plate. It really helped the ski for surfing the wave, big improvement imo for surfing & slashing the wave. Ski still rotates fine with the longer plate.

When I swap the motor/pump I'm going to set the pump back another 2in like the FS2 pump... I'll post up some pics when I do it for other FS1 owners

I like plastic ones...they are cheap, and that stress will just find somewhere else to go with a metal nozzle

my F1 pro is the same way...sticks out at least 3-4 inches, maybe more
