Just got in new straps, hoping this will help, I noticed my tank was shifted and twisted a bit after last ride. on my freak I had some 20mm stuck down under the sides. Gonna get some Yoga Blocks to make some wedges. Wife would kill me if I stole hers, they are purple also.

What would be the best way to mount a tow strap in a rickter? I'm looking at the hood of my edge and thinking I could get a flat nylon strap rolled up on there with some velcro strips to hold it in place. Anyone have pics of things they've done? I understand I may have to access it quickly in possibly rough water so I like the thought of opening the hood a small amount and being able to grab it right out from there. The only other option I can think of is some sort of a small dry pack that I wear on my life vest.... thoughts?

If you did it this way and got hit by a wave you could swamp and loose the ski.

Mount it to the dash or wear it around your waist, I wear mine on the waist btw..

Jetmaniac had SS hooks and just get some rope. Also in the Daytona freeride thread I think mark Waller made some that attached Nicky to the dash.. might have a look at that one

Easiest thing ever. Nylon strap in a flashlight holder. Run your life jacket strap thru it. It's right next to you on your lifejacket, you can have it out in seconds. tow rope.jpg

I found my strap when rolled up fits right up I. The upper pole cover. It’s in there pretty tight but I may get it secured better with some Velcro.

For the gas tank i made a box tray out of hydro turf the oem tank sits in.

And tow loop is my pole limiting rope. 7ft nylon rope with 2 stainless carabiner hooks. Quick connects under pole pad.

Does anyone have any experience with the RRP Rickter Intake Grates on an Edge. They sell Trimmed and Untrimmed models, which one fits best for the 18/19 Edge?

So another thing crossed my mind about guys that head out a bit farther from the launch... how do you deal with not having a reserve switch on your ski? I haven't taken mine out yet and I can only imagine a 950 dasa is going to suck more gas than my stock 701 ever did. I'm sure it will just take time to get used to what my actual ride time is before I have to head back in to shore for gas. I just don't want to be like the guy who had such a small tank and after 15 min was running back into the channel. :)
