RICKTER talk

So for 2015 + how are he hood seals, brackets, breather hoses etc with water?

Took mine out for the first time Tuesday and must have gotten tons of water in there - milky flame arrestors and some water droplets in carb..died after doing some tricks

First ride out scupper leaks when sitting still but sealed when more water weight was on it don't think that is my culprit.

Adjust your hood so it seals proper and you shouldn't have an issue

Definitely plan to replace the turd scupper with ball type.

I tightened up hood so now it snaps down really tight, it helped ALOT but I'm still getting some water bog when doing back to back in water tricks

I doubt the scupper is causing problems while I'm moving though if anything helping

@Jamo07sj what jet works motor are you running? How do you like it?

950 Stock stroke stock ignition , I bought it second hand from a friend.

I like it alot, I'm all about the midrange hit and this motor def delivers that!

Only 3 rides on it - so still turnin screws and playing w temps

Hit me up when you wanna ride I'm right next to orwood

For future reference for 2016 xfr pole bracket needs silicone or some homemade gasket, silicone around breather tubes would help too - all my water intrusion was coming from there.

Also I glued on my hin where "removal would be obvious" as required by cali - on the exhaust side above the sponson

For those of you replacing the Rickter scupper valve with a ball type valve are you replacing both scuppers or just the one on the transom?
