Got this idea from a pic From another member on here somewhere. Seemed simple and cheap enough figured I would try it.

Aside from this I currently have the slide in ball scupper from jetmaniac as a backup in case this thing falls off lol

I realize it won't drain as fast, going to do a less permanent install for now until I prove it dumps enough water for my ride style

Read the whole turf thread but wondering what mm factory rickter underpad is? What mm are you guys replacing it with? How thick can you fit before the foot holds are too high? Thinking of going 18mm or 30mm in my fs2 evo. Got some black molded diamond ready to go. Also going to redo my holds

Follow up I made another plate w no holes, decided to glue it. Works like really good hull stays bone dry. Even have a cap for cheap insurance when docking for a while or whatever...

How does the edge compare to the xfs? Does anyone know the length of the 2 skis?

To me they both rode the same. The xfs rode like a -10 edge.

I don't think they ride the same at all really. 2016 was the last time I rode the Edge, XFS, XFR back to back, all built by TC and I had all day to go from one to the other. XFS and XFR handle and feel very similar, wider at the front and very flat, more nose high yet not too high to ride normally.
The Edge is a freeride ski that carves, nose down, goes WFO without the scary yardsale feeling, way more predictable handling and more my type of ski, almost like a motorcycle to me it was so stable and goes where you are looking.

The Edge got changes from 2015 to 2016. Currently I have a Carbon Hybrid FR2 Evo 1000 Dasa, my wife rides a 2016 Edge FR with a 1000 Dasa with a milder tune, we love to ride when it's rough out, the Edge is heavier but handling in waves or chop is so much better and more nose down than my EVO is. We both like the Edge better and although I don't like having 2 of the same anything, I can see an Edge in my future, maybe a Carbon for me as I rode Abrahams carbon 1000, loved it too!

Yeah saw the white one up on TCF's Instagram. Looks nice. I heard some shape changes but can't confirm till I get my hull.

Hey guys - I have a Rickter FR-2 EVO - does anyone know if the footholds in the Edge can be moved more forward? I looks in pictures like some of the Edge skis that the box where the footholds go are longer - more forward than on my FR2. Can anyone confirm or deny?

They are adjustable and basically the same as they have always been between fr2/evo/edge

Yea I have a FR2 - so I know that part - its the length or location of the box area where the metal mounts ae located - are they further forward on the ski?

What’s the benefit of a thick-tall handpole hood pad over the stock Rickter hood pad?

Your pole just sits higher in its lowest position. more comfortable for taller riders but its all personal preference.

that white turf the K is made out of , is garbage, just like all white hydroturf. it turns into dust after a very short time in the sun. stay away from any white, black n white, or any color and white turf! my red freak, may it rest in peace, had black n white turf that vanished with the quickness. that 2014 FR2evo i'm building needs the white crap replaced

Anyone use sponsons on top of the mild built in sponsons on an FS2? What model? I ride lakes, rivers and chase boat wakes. Noticeable difference in handling?
